There is Comcast, then there is Spirit Airlines and below them there is LenderLive.

This company disgusts me. Their customer services is terrible, and communication is non existent. THEN they sell my mortgage to a company called PHH mortgage. I thought it couldnt get worse I literally want to pull my hair out dealing with these people. AVOID LENDER LIVE AT ALL COST SO THEY DONT SELL YOUR MORTGAGE TO A SCUM COMPANY LIKE PHHMORTGAGE. LENDERLIVE is the worst.

I really want to give less than 0 stars. This lender is the worst company I’ve ever dealt with. They never return phone calls or emails. I have been calling them at least twice per week for the last month. I always speak to a customer service agent who can’t help me but sends messages to whom ever can. No one has contacted me yet. Well, after a month, have already filed a complaint against them with the better business bureau.
This week I plan to file a complaint against Lender Live with the Department of Consumer affairs both in California and Colorado.
My mortgage was sold to this terrible company. I had no choice in that matter. I’m planning on selling my property so that I never have to deal with these people again.

No stars! This is the worst mortgage company. Our loan was sold to them by United Security. I am also not happy with United Security because it appears they did not fully research Lender Live before they sold them mortgages. We have had Lender Live for a little less than a year and EVERY month — there is a problem. They did not pay my homeowners insurance until 2 months after the due date and only then because I called them asking why it had not been paid after I got a cancellation notice. Their website is a joke — locked up, shut down, under construction — whatever. Every month, I have to change my password. I have had to re-​register more than once. Website address gets changed by them without notification to customers — try to log on to the website address you used last month and get sent to some weird website that has nothing to do with LenderLive. One time trying to make my payment, I received this message «YOU ARE NOT AUTHORIZED TO MAKE A PAYMENT AT THIS TIME.» What kind of stupid message is that? I called — they were closed — I left a message requesting a call back — I have never received that call. Now, they sent out 1098s late. Just recieved mine today. I had used the electronic 1098 and it turns out they did not have all of my interest on the electronic form — already filed my taxes using electronic 1098. So, now I have to amend my tax returns. When you call LenderLive — they do not take responsibility for anything. They talk down to me and never ever apologize. You have to repeat yourself over and over cause they only listen to half of what you say. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE.

worst mortgage company ever! they don’t respond to emails. they don’t answer their phones (i have currently been on hold for over 82 minutes and counting.) they never communicated that they were going to pay my property taxes. once i found that out, i requested that they pay my future supplemental property tax. now i am trying to call to see if they received and processed my request before they sold my mortgage to another company. being held on the phone for this long explains their lack of customer service. i mean really, this could technically be considered torture… listening to the same crappy elevator music on repeat every 30 seconds… 164 times and counting.
maybe they cease to exist. i hope that’s the case. if it was, i would give them 5 stars!

We used LenderLive for our two mortgages. Worst experience ever! They misapplied our cabin mortgage to our home mortgage and are threatening to put a negative report on our credit report. We are refinancing because of the extremely poor customer service and their casual attitude towards our money. By not giving us quick customer service, they are putting our new refi at risk. We’re considering an attorney, even though we may be tilting at windmills. Beware of this company!

If I could give this company zero stars I could! I refinanced my mortgage about a year and a half ago and it was sold to lender live. They have been nothing but awful and unhelpful from the get go! Their escrow department royally screwed up the disbursements and now they are coming after me for the fees for their mistakes. I just refinanced again to get away from this awful company. Run!

What a nightmare! WJBradley Mortgage switched to Lender Live Network for payment collection and they are completely inept. I payed my 1^st payment by check and they cashed it right away but never applied it to my account. They have been «unable to locate» my payment even though I have emailed them a copy of the front and back of the cashed check and spoken to them multiple times for weeks now. Meanwhile I receive calls and letters from them trying to collect payment telling me my credit score is at risk. !!! I have really excellent credit rating that I have guarded my whole long life and I have never been late on a single payment.

The Federal Reserve Board issued amendment to the Truth In Lending Act, for consumers to receive notice when their mortgage loan has been sold or transferred. There are compliance guidelines which mortgage servicers must follow RE: transfer of service/​loan ownership, escrow accounts, force placed insurance, fees, inquiries, disputes AND posting payments.
It is in this last component where LenderLive fails to comply with the law. My loan was sold by Discover Home Loans to LenderLive. And boy, do i regret this ever happened. I would have accepted a higher interest on my loan to simply not deal with this company.
The SERVICER must credit a payment to your account as of the day it is received. However, the online payment website provided by LenderLive is faulty and continuously problematic. You follow all the steps to make a payment but it logs you off after the final step, which leads you to believe you have made a payment. If consumers are not diligent in following up days later, to see if your payment posted, which it may not — then you run the risk of being charged LATE FEES.
This company also functions as a collection agency. And i am sympathetic in this regard, since i imagine it deals with many customers who are undisciplined with their finances. But in the case where you are being responsible and diligent about compiling with personal financial matters — this company creates a hurdle, and i can see where others, who may be less tech savvy, will unwittingly fall into a trap and be assessed late fees for payments which are not properly posted.
I have written emails and made multiple calls to address this concern and to inform them they must correct this «bug» in their system. They state it is the fault of my bank and not theirs. I have never had my bank’s debit card, check or credit card be denied at any business… ever!
This evening, i again attempted to make my mortgage payment through their website. Once again, i was logged off at the final stage. I will call again in a few days, where i will ask the agent to manually withdraw money from my checking account. LenderLive charges an additional fee when you ask them to do it by phone. If you inform them you attempted via their website and now resort to calling them, they will offer to waive the fee — but only once! Future calls to make payment shall incur a $ 9 fee. I wonder how much revenue this company generates on late fees? Which are imposed on you as a result of their flawed system.
The Federal Trade Commission is the nation’s consumer protection agency. It works to prevent fraudulent, deceptive and unfair business practices in the market place. I hope the FTC initiates an investigation into this company.
Do yourself a favor, before you sign a loan for a home — ask the lender to see if they will sell your loan or obtain the services of LenderLive.
If so… turn and walk away. Make sure your loan is serviced by another company.
