The Glendale store is like all Leslie’s outlets; The staff is friendly, helpful and fairly knowledgeable. But they often try to sell you expensive pool treatment products. Most of these cost $ 40-$ 80 each, and many are unnecessary based on my 10 years experience as a pool owner. Leslie’s will recommend that you use them regularly. This can add hundred$ to your yearly maintenance costs needlessly. If you are reluctant, they will encourage you to «just try it,» but they won’t tell you these products are non-returnable and nonrefundable based on state law. So if you buy a treatment product and it doesn’t work, you’re out of luck.

This place is fantastic. We got a new swim spa and the company that sent it offered pretty much no maintenance or care information. I’ve never taken care of a pool before so I was pretty clueless. I went to this store yesterday and today and am feeling so much better about everything. The gentleman working(Adolfo) was incredibly friendly and helpful and pointed me in the right direction. With his help I was able to clear up the issues we were having and also get a better sense of what I needed for upkeep. I would give them more stars if I could.

This place is great. I recently bought a house with a pool and was paying a guy $ 150/mo to service it. At first I was a little bit intimidated to do it myself, but Brian and the folks here took the time to explain everything to me and also sold me all the things I needed. Since then I’ve really enjoyed talking care of my pool and always stop back in with my questions! Thanks guys!

Reliably mid-tier. Their prices are average. They staff is very friendly. Their knowledge about what they have in stock is very good However, they are NOT pool experts about maters outside of what they sell in store. They sold me a variable speed pool pump for a very good price including installation. However, they did not ask me if I had 220 power and as the result, the installer had to tell me that the product I purchased would not work with my existing 110 power. The end result was that it all needed to be returned. However, they are still a good place to buy chlorine and pool skimmers. :)
