So its xmas day. After a failed attempt at eating at Phở City down the street due to a no chef crisis, we stumbled across this place. The restaraunt had about 2 parties dining at the restaraunt upon our arrival. We noticed there was also two or 3 groups of people that were there waiting for their take out orders. We sat down, got our orders placed and received our food in about 15 mins. The food was okay… nothing to write to mamma about. Our plates and silverware were filthy, They looked like they had been washed by a two year old in school yard drinking fountain. We asked for new plates and silver ware and received ones slightly less gunky. The whole time we were eating, the parties that were there waiting for take out were still there… complaining that they had been waiting for 45 – 60 mins. It was odd that we came in, sat down and had our food rather quickly but these poor hungry people had been waiting for an hour. It was comical to watch. The groups kept getting closer and closer to the kitchen until they were finally standing in the kitchen door. One of the guys, an older gentleman, was fuming and got up in the workers womans face. When we left, about 50 mins after our arrival, one of those take out orders was finally on its way. Good luck on the take out and if you dine in do your self a favor and bring your own paper plates and plastic utensils.

After taking long walks that Thursday and watching a charity fund I was ready to sit down and eat. So I passed by this place early in the morning and took a peek inside, looked nice, but went along my business. I was so tired and was tempted by curiosity to check this place out. I like the Lunch and Dinner specials I believe it was five bucks. I ordered Chow Mein I think it was it was good considering it’s next to the Americana, plus you can order take out. They serve Beer and Thai, but I am pretty sure they weren’t Chinese, or the were speaking a dialect I had no clue on. Well, plenty of seating and the owner is nice. What I liked was that the food came out quick and hot so that was great. I am comfortably without a rush, usually it’s a rush and it’s rare when food stops me from being in a rush. Check this place out it’s pretty good. I remember it’s been there for at least 3 to 4 years now, but never have wanted to try it since i don’t often visit Glendale.

Rude. The facilities could be cleaner. The tables feel like they do a half ass wipe down job. Dust on most of the fixtures and paintings. I have this feeling they’re prejudice against us ABC’s who don’t speak chinese. I ordered Orange Peal Chicken. I think they gave me Kung Pao instead. Their prices are about what you would expect from a chinese restaurant, but the portions are about half what I would have expected. Then I notice a sign for $ 15 minimum credit card transactions… since I didn’t have any cash on hand I decided to order their full plate of chicken and cashew nuts to go. I think they gave me the lunch version instead. And to make matters worse, found a long hair at the bottom of the bowl! It would be one thing if it was at the top, then you could explain it away saying that it accidentally dropped into the bowl. NO! It was mixed in.
