This trail should not be confused with the beverage that is really bad for you, contains 290 calories, 77 grams of sugar and 91 milligrams of caffeine. This is a little trail measuring approximately ¾ of a mile that surrounds the southern most fields at the Glendale Sports Complex. Personally, I prefer the Catalina Verdugo Trail because of the view and elevation gains, but Mountain Do Trail is wheelchair accessible, has various fitness machines, picnic benches and interpretive panels that describe the local plants and wildlife. The trail is made of decomposed granite and it very nice because there isn’t a lot of dust produced. To access the trail just park on the south side of parking lot and there is one entrance just west of the soccer field and another entrance on the east side. This would be a nice area to have a picnic after hiking over in Cherry Canyon. There are restrooms available just north of the eastern entrance to the trail. Note: I used the GPS on my phone and the address ended up showing up as Glendale Freeway. I sent an edit request to Unilocal with the following address, so hopefully it will be updated soon. Address: Glendale Sports Complex, 2200 Fern Lane, Glendale, CA91208 Hours: It’s open every day from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
