We are a family owned Christmas Tree farm that grows trees in Northern Oregon and sells the highest quality of those trees in Los Angeles. We offer delivery, flocking, wreaths, garland, and other accessories. We have great customer service and are very knowledgeable about the trees. This is a great tree lot to bring your kids to play with a very welcoming family environment. Our trees come included with a stand and a water bowl, and we would be happy to tie it on top of your car for you!

History

Established in 1976.

Carl Meseck grew up on a farm in Wisconsin. After moving out to California, he began working for the YMCA in Glendale, and for years they sold Christmas trees as a fundraiser. After retiring, he quickly grew discontent with sitting idle. He decided to go back to his roots and farm, and wanted to grow what he been dealing with for years– Christmas trees. He started a farm outside of Salem, Oregon and began shipping the Christmas trees down to Glendale, California to sell. Carl has recently passed away in this last year, but his family still continues on with the business and the farm.

We just drove past and saw a sign for a new location on Verdugo. We went and bought a tree there. Nice enough people. They said Mr Snowman’s retired and closed down. Crossing our fingers that this year’s tree is good quality lasts.

We have shopped all around Glendale for a tree every year we’ve been here and have always ended up here. This year we just came straight here! Prices were lower than I recall from previous years and we found the perfect little Douglass Fir right away. this place!

Great price for our tree. So far the best place to buy a tree I looked many places and could not find something in my price range. I found a tree for 17.95 and that’s with a stand and if you check in on Unilocal you get a disposal bag and preservative. And the sales guy was really nice

The not-​so-​great news: cash or checks only, no credit cards At a time when most people conduct most of their business on plastic, how is this a customer-​friendly practice? Sign up for Square. Makes no sense at all.
Second gripe; please spend the money to be able to wrap up the tree for easy transport. Seriously, if Home Depot can do it, it’s not that hard.

Affordable and great service with freebies when checked in!
My husband and I love fresh Christmas trees. I was looking for a noble fir or similar. My husband and I was so lucky to pick out a tree from this place because we were in and and out in about 15 mins. We didnt have cash and had to return. They were able to place a tag that stated sold until we returned. The tree we picked was already displayed with a stand and water holder attached. Their trees were full, fragrant, and full! I definitely recommend this place. We got a 6 foot tree for about $ 60 with a coupon or any type of deal. So happy with our tree! Thank you for your family’s wonderful business!

We were in Glendale running errands and looked up Christmas tree lots close by so we can knock out another errand while we were out and found Mr. Snowman. They have a great selection and the staff is super friendly. We found a perfect tree which was probably around 6 to 6 ½ feet and cost us $ 42. Once you check in via Unilocal,you get a free tree bag and water treatment bottle :) I thought that was also very cool. The staff was able to get the tree up on my car and strapped it down very securely in no time. The entire process was no more than 15 — 20 minutes (most of that time was us picking out the tree). We told the GF’s mom about the place and she went and got her tree there later that day and was also very happy with them!

A tiny little spot on S. Glendale Blvd — you might miss it if the gigantic snowman wasn’t out front. Great selection of trees: small 2 – 3 footers up to extra large 10+ footers. They also have a great variety of trees: Douglas Fir (doesn’t smell as strong, lasts 5+ weeks), Noble Fir (medium smell, lasts about 4 – 5 weeks), and regular Pine (strongest smell, lasts 2 – 3 weeks).
Our baby tree (about 4.5 feet) cost $ 29. Prices for a medium, 6 – 7 footer were in the $ 60’s and the impressive 10+ trees were in the $ 130 – 160 range. Prices also vary by type of tree.
Cash and check only. Check in on Unilocal for the comped tree disposal bag and liquid preservatives to put in the h2o! One of the employees also gave us a x-​mas life hack — 7up in the water works just as well!

My then fiancé and I tried to make last year’s Christmas as Christmasy as possible, so I thought «WE SHOULD GET A TREE!» We went to one other place in Glendale and the people were friendly but the trees were a bit too expensive. $ 80 for something that was slowly dying while creating a huge mess, no thank you.
We drove around and came across Mr. Snowman’s. They had a good variety of trees for reasonable prices. Customer service was okay, you have to ask for help, but you’re buy a freaking tree not a car, so understandable. The guy that helped us get our tree on top of our car was nice and really helpful. That tree didn’t budge, he knew what he was doing. This was the first time we bought a real tree and I can’t say I’ll be doing it again. Getting a Christmas tree in and out of a three story apartment is not an easy task! Although, my cat thoroughly enjoyed it, she’d get lost for hours on end.

Our 2nd year getting our tree from Mr Snowman. This year getting my tree so late on the season saved me some cash. My son likes running around the lot and I like the super cool employee that tied the tree to the roof of my hot rod, err. honda. My tree is fresh, the price I’s right and I’ll be seeing Mr Snowman again next year.

This place ROCKS! We wandered through the mini forest til we found a tree we liked. It smelled amazing, but wasn’t QUITE the right size and shape for what we wanted. We asked Mark if they might have something similar in the enormous bundles in the back. He took us back, and after a few minutes of scouring the hundreds and hundreds of trees brought out a tree that smelled even better. He said with confidence that he was pretty sure this was our tree. I was dubious… All tied up it didn’t look like much. Then he snipped the cords and propped it up.
Whoa.
THE most beautiful, perfectly shaped tree I’ve ever seen. He was spot on. And it was $ 50. Fifty bucks! Check out the pic. Mr. Snowman is the real deal. Full service Christmas Tree shopping with great product and even better prices. I threw the guys a nice tip at the end cuz I’m guessing that’s where they make most of their money. Get in the holiday spirit and do the same if you can — the service here is top notch.

I’ve been coming here the last couple of years for christmas trees and I’m very pleased every time. Travis is awesome!!! Him and his family operate this business from the ground up. Get it? He… he…he…They are the ones that actually grow the trees, cut ‘em, ship ‘em and display ‘em for sale every year. I love when small family owned businesses like this one are able to thrive and I love to support them!
Travis is always super nice and patient and will explain everything to you and help you out with whatever you need. I remember last year I accidently snapped one of the tree stand legs when I tossed it off my car roof and he replaced it with no questions and no problem at all. That’s the kind of service I really appreciate.

Gorgeous freshly cut trees (Ours was just chopped down today!!), super awesome customer service (the guy greeted us upon arrival) and shared in the excitment of my, my honey and our daughter’s 1st Christmas :)
Definitely worth the drive from Hollywood and the ridiculous Christmas tree prices. We got a gorgeous 6 foot Noble Fir for $ 48 and since we checked in on Unilocal a tree removal bag and tree preservation «juice» oh AND the stand was included.
We will be back next year!!! MERRY CHRISTMAS :)
