I hope Unilocal doesn’t delete me — but I must say that I’ve been burned by Unilocal reviews more than once. I still think friend referrals are the most reliable. That being said, trust me on this one. Nash Auto Service is great. Unilocal got it right. I couldn’t be happier with the quality of service. Mike is to-​the-​point and accurate. My car had several «issues». Mike worked through them all. It is once again fun to drive. He’s busy, so come prepared to explain your need. Sometimes, I make a list. It so great to find a mechanic you can rely on. This is the one!

I wouldn’t normally take my car to a dealership, but it had to go in for a recall and figured I might as well have them check out a funny sound while it was there. They said my rack and pinion needed to be replaced and it would cost me $ 1,500. I called a bunch of places to see if I could get the work done for less and one of the places I called was Nash. He said 1. he could do it for about half the price, and 2. he was almost positive it was not my rack and pinion based on the symptoms I described. I took it in, drove around the block with him and he said it’s not your rack and pinion, it’s your sway bar and it would only cost you $ 150 to fix. Half a day later I had my car back and running perfectly. I couldn’t be more pleased. If I’d stayed with the dealership I would have paid $ 1,350 more and it wouldn’t have fixed the problem.

A coworker many years ago recommended Nash Auto because she said the owner, Nash was honest and a great mechanic. She was very right. I continue to come back to Nash now many years later for help with maintaining my car. He’s courteous and although he’s very busy, he takes the time to help and makes sure you clearly understand the problem he’s about to fix.
This last visit was no exception. I told Nash the problem could be heard when driving on the freeway and in an effort to understand what I was hearing, we took a drive on the freeway. The problem was diagnosed and fixed.
Having confidence in your mechanic is priceless.

Mike is by far the most honest, thorough and did I mention HONEST? Mechanic of all time. My husband and I were referred to him by my father in law a couple of years ago after I had a terrible experience at Diamond Honda. We’ve been taking our cars in to him regularly ever since. He is always honest, always fair and always accommodating. If you’re looking for a gem of a mechanic, look no further. He’s the absolute best.

Mike is the owner. I started coming here because I had recently moved to Glendale, and our family friend had been coming here for 10 years. He’s taken care of my previous car and my current one, and he’s just a delight. Always clear and blunt in what has to be done. He’s super busy all the time so call ahead and ask when a good time to come in is. He’ll even let you know what will need to be done next time! His crystal ball is his wrench

Very honest and professional. What else could you ask for? I have taken my car to him several times now and every time I had a problem he found the source of it and fixed it, this includes Evap system leaks, 4wd issues, and lots of suspension work.
When I first got my vehicle I was told by different mechanics that I needed to change all the control arm bushings and I was lucky enough to get to call Mike before doing anything and he took a look at it and told me exactly which bushings need to be changed and gave me a price quote that was very fair.
After that every time I had problems with my car he has been the one to take care of it.

Professional, no bs service! I’ve been taking my car to Nash for a year now, and he does excellent work on my car at fair prices! Conversations are usually short, sweet, and direct, which I appreciate from a mechanic. My bf even takes his car to Nash now!

This place was a God send! The most honest, efficient and professional treatment I’ve seen. I needed some heavy work done on my truck and not only was the work done well, I was given an amazing price for it all. I would recommend this place to everyone!

Nash auto is the most efficient and honest place of business I have found in Los Angeles to date.
My car started to make a funny clicking noise so brought it to a repair shop in my neighborhood where I was told I needed my timing belt, water pump, and a broken tension rod replaced totaling $ 702. I went home and called Nash and got Mike on the phone who gave me a lower quote $ 650 for the parts and labor I had been told I needed. He also seemed so much more knowledgeable over the phone that I decided to make the 20 min drive to his shop.
When I got there he listened to what I had been told and then re-​diagnosed the problem as a loose exhaust shield (they fixed it in 20 min, no charge).
We both realized pretty quickly that the other shop had taken one look at me (a 30 year old woman) and tried to extort as much money as possible out of my minor problem. Thank goodness for that nagging gut feeling that they were being dishonest.
The difference when I walked into Nash was night and day, I was welcomed and treated with respect and honesty. I will ONLY go to Nash from now on. Let my horrible search be enough for you!!!

I was lucky enough to find Nash Auto about 6 years ago when I lived in Glendale. I’ve been so pleased with the quality of work, the prices, the efficiency of the mechanics and the honesty in communication when explaining what needs to be done. Over the years I’ve had several auto services done. engine work, tire changes and alignment, filter replacement and of course oil changes. Mike Nash has always been more than helpful in prioritizing what is necessary at the time, what needs to be done soon, and He is straightforward about the information he explains and the process that it takes. I’ve also never experienced any trouble with the work done on my car after I drive away. Mike Nash is my car’s doctor! I trust his judgement and am confident that my car is safe because of the quality maintenance I receive at Nash Auto.

This place rules! Nash is always super friendly and very professional. You don’t get ripped off, he never does anything on your car that doesn’t need to be done. He always explains everything and shows you what he switched out. It’s always affordable and you always walk away with a good feeling.

I want to recomend Mike and Nash auto. I have been taking mine and my kids cars to Mike for 4 years.
He fixed an aircondtioning problem on my 2007 gs 350 Lexus 4 years ago.
The dealer had the car 3 times and could not fix.
Mike has replaced engines and transmission as well as regular mantience and I have never been happier with a mechanic in my 60 years of living.
He and his staff are the MOST HONEST MECHANICS I HAVE EVER HAD THE PLEASURE OF WORKING WITH.

My new car that I always take to the dealership (in Santa Monica and not a hop, skip and a jump from Echo Park) had an issue with the back closing when I was leaving the market. That means I could not lock or close the car properly. In L.A. how does that work!!! Not well.
My friend had told me about NASH AUTO SERVICE and my friend is not easy to please. He actually loves them. I called, the owner told me to come in anytime.
I went in and he fixed my car in about 4 minutes and did not charge me.
He took the time, and was lovely!
This is a family owned and operated place with something you dont find as a winning combination anymore (or so it seems) honesty and integrity AND they know what they are doing! I recommend them 100%! Do yourself a favor and go to these folks. They Rock! Nikki S.

My freon run out or so I thought. I called different places and they were charging me somewhere in the hundreds. Called Nash and he gave me a reasonable estimate. Both Mikes were friendly and explained everything. They are so honest and highly recommended. Now I can say I have found my mechanic!!!

Nash auto service are very honest. I have a Kia Sedona 2005 and need to replace the
Belt Tensioner and Idler Pulley. I have the parts and I ask the owner if they can change the parts, and he said yes and he gave me a reasonable price for their services and agreed to the price. And after 15mins it’s all done and I ask for Oil Change and it took only 15mins for the total of 30mins. I’m happy with their service and I will not shop around anymore if I have a problem with my van. I highly recommend Nash Auto Service for all your problem with your car. Honesty is the best policy. I have known about Nash’s Auto Service for about 6 months now. I originally had him repair my A/​C unit because it was blowing hot air and the local dealership was going to cost me 1,500.00 including labor. Nash did it the same day for about 250.00. Obviously, I was pleased with the cost and it was hassle-​free. He didn’t try to up-​sell me on anything and just asked if I could tell my friends.
Yesterday, I had him repair my coolant tubes since they were leaking and he charged me 160.00, which would have cost me another 1,500.00 at the local dealership. He loves what he does and it clearly shows. I highly recommend Mike Nash for all auto services!

I found Mike’s place through Unilocal,honestly. I had gotten an estimate from Pacific BMW to replace my brake pads and rotors and it was just so freakin expensive.
I brought the car to Mike. He got my X3 up on the lift and educated me about the brakes. He showed me how he calibrated the calipers to see if I needed new rotors and indeed, I needed them.
His estimate came in about $ 400 less than Pacific BMW’s.
He was lovely, and friendly, and he got the work done within the timeline I laid out.
Honestly, it was just so nice to have a mechanic who would explain it all to me. At the dealership, one tends to worry if they’re taking you for a ride. Here, Mike did the measurements with me there with him!
I would highly recommend Nash Auto Service. I will definitely be back.
