Sayat Nova Restaurant & Banquet

I was here in December for our friends second day of the wedding. Great place really helpful staff and a great food. Next time we will be in LA area will come by.

I love this place! We used them for catering for the first time and I must say, I am very satisfied, considering I ordered food for New Year Eve… they added extra appetizers, rice and even bread! Prices are great for all that food! I ordered food for 16 people, but they gave me enough food for 30 people! The food and meat was amazing and fresh! I will definitely be using them again for my catering needs! Thank you!

If there’s a chance to rate this place for –0 I will personally happy to rate… Firs of All No one happy face in serving personal… rood 2^nd We asked for (Pamidorov dzvazdeg) Tomato omelette and believe or not waiter came back and tell as it is going to cost 100 $ Yes this is true… but bad thing is a manager approved And Owners Too… they say verbally /​dzvadzeg/​is a coas 100 $ … I don’t want to continue a what happens after this…3^rd…Food was Horrible… Julienne 0 Quality., fried dumplings was burned ap…, and everything else I have tried was makes me Seeek… I ate only a Cheese end some cold cats… So after all this things we left very Early …

Very spacious venue! The interior is very modern yet classy. We had an employee Chrismas party here and the food and wait service provided was decent. I cannot rate based on food or wait service, since I was unsure who it was provided by, but I had an overall great experience here. It has everything you need for a venue; ample lighting, accessible restrooms, and space for deejays and a dance floor!

About a year ago I had my bridal shower here.
The new remodeling they did is seriously AMAZING!!!
This banquet hall looks completely different from what it looked like before.
The owners are so nice (Avo and Gokor) they managed to put everything i wanted on the table without going over my tight budget. they even helped me find a videographer for the event who did an amazing job with my bridal shower video.
I have a few events coming up and ill definitely be coming to his banquet hall to book them!

The owners and staff are very rude. We originally put a deposit 3 months prior to our event, which at that time we were told our event has to be over by 4. The day of our event, they tried over charging us by adding extra seats, which we did not ask for. By 3:00, they started clearing the tables and table cloths while guests were still seated. Extremely disappointed. Oh, and the kabob came out cold!

The manager and the servers are very rude and stubborn. We were there a few weeks back and the food came out cold the servers looked like they didn’t want to be there. The management didn’t care for other peoples opinion and just wanted everything to his convenient. Not taking my business there!!!

I was at a gathering and the food was catered from here. Everything was incredibly delicious. Will order from here in the future!

Excellent food. Perfect service. Remodeled modern interior. Overall wonderful experience. Had a memorable night at my cousins’ daughters baptism.

I chose Sayat Nova as my engagement venue and am giving it 5 stars due to the exceptional customer service! I felt very taken care of! The food was amazing as well as the new design of the hall-​beautiful and very modern-​looking !! Thank you to Gokor and staff, you made my engagement party quite memorable!

The valet parking guy was so incredibly rude I can’t even begin to explain. He had no right to treat us the way he did. The food was okay and the service was alright but the valet parking guy absolutely killed this experience for me. I wouldn’t even pay two dollars for that service let alone seven!

I have not been to this restaurant before the remodel so I can’t say anything about the previous condition or etc. However now this place is simply gorgeous and VERY classy! No untasteful bling or décor like you see at other Armenian halls, it’s PERFECT for a gathering of 100 – 120 people. We did my hubby’s birthday here over the weekend and all the guests were very impressed with the hall and the food as well. They have amazing food! I had to order two extra salads because everyone at our table finished them in a heartbeat lol. The owner is super nice and I am just sooo happy we picked this hall vs others. I will definitely be keeping it in my for future small events.

I had my engagement here in October and felt very taken care of. The owner Gokor is so caring and personable. He was able to meet my needs and made sure everything went smoothly the day of. Thanks to his referral, I found a DJ at a reasonable price and he did an amazing job!!! This is a wonderful, cozy banquet hall for moderate-​sized parties. My engagement was for 100 people and there was plenty of space for us to dance and sit at the tables! Great layout and ample valet parking. Thank you!

First of all i do not understand why they keep Valet parking guy?, he’s very rude, and do not have manner to speak to people.
Food is horrible, service is horrible…

My first time at this hall and I was very impressed. It’s a great size for a shower or smaller party. The part I loved the most was the food and the service. The food was delicious and very diverse. I loved all of the appetizers, especially the smoked salmon and shrimp. We were served an amazing Chinese mandarin salad, Chinese shrimp and vegetables, stuffed mushrooms (yum!), chicken/​beef, and this really delicious salmon & cheese on bread appetizer I’d never had before (also amazing). Then we got fruit which tasted really good for some reason even though I’m not a big fruit fan, followed by tea and coffee. Everything was delicious, it totally made my night. I give the hall 4 stars only because the outside and inside décor could use some updating. Otherwise, great service, great size, and awesome food.

We had our wedding here… And thanks to the Coco — owner of the restaurant and his employees we got our wedding — dream come true We loved the food, nice decorated place, with moldings, chandeliers, shiny floors, big dancing floor, stage. Coco chose the DJ for us that brought own equipment and lighting. He has the best price with wide variety of food, really nice interior, own valley parking, little tables and chairs outside for smokers. Coco great businessman who knows how to do weddings, baby showers, bridal showers… He has long experience and we felt it as soon as we met him. We went around many places in Los Angeles County but we liked this Sayat Nova Restaurant & Banquet Hall because we didn’t need to go over the budget and there were not many rules and conditions as other restaurants were putting on us… We brought as many people as we wanted, we stayed as long as everybody felt (until 2:30 next morning), there were no restrictions what time to come on wedding day. Me and my husband are different nationalities and Coco knows now to comfort everybody.
