Zero flavor. I tried it on an empty stomach after a long day’s work. The chicken and hummus had no flavor… I would not recommend this place.

Absolute favorite grilled chicken place, better than Zankou for sure. Spread some garlic sauce on the chicken, and there you go. Your taste buds will thank you later!

I found this place on Unilocal(of course) and when I walked in, they had BOGO free for lunch(awesome) when you order a 2 piece with 2 sides plate. So of course I had to get that. I got one dark meat with rice and hummus($ 9) and the other one was white meat with rice and hummus plates. It was so good!!! The chicken was flavorful and tender, decent portions. The hummus was very tasty. I really enjoyed my lunch and especially my free dinner.

What is up with this place? I used to like it ALOT and it was the mom & pop version of the now Zankou franchise. The chicken used to be super moist and succulent but now it’s a little dry. I will say they do have much bigger portions … You do indeed get more bang for your buck, but this place has fallen off in freshness. I do hope they pick up again because it used to be really good.

all i gotta say is its the closest place for me to get food & ive only been there once. theres a reason the parking lot is empty. compared to zankue and bravo café ill never go here again. its not cheaper its not as good and you might feel funny afterwords.(a bowl hugging experience). one amazing thing tho is you will never be waiting in line :)

The woman who takes your order is rude. I guess she doesn’t want my business.

The woman with short dark hair Armenian was really rude on the phone today. She kept yelling and barked at me to tell her what time id pick up my food. Lady calm down… im only five minutes away. The way she rushed me off the phone you would think there would of been a huge line inside. There wasn’t. Although there was a Armenian man who the lady didn’t seem to rush. She barely thanked me. Didn’t look me im my eyes. Smile. She didn’t even let me know the straws were in some weird container on the side of the wall with other utensils. But she seemed to be able to communicate with the armenian gentleman just fine. Rude unprofessional bitch. Hire a better cashier. Someone pretty young and perky. I hate spending my money where people treat me like a dog in the street.

Lunch special. Pay more for Breast meat and get the garlic sauce. Ask half rice half fries and make a little pita pocket with the ingredients. Then prepare for your new devotion to the almighty Sevan chicken.

So many better alternatives in Glendale. Not terrible rotisserie chicken, but doesn’t hold a candle to Zankou. This place is a weak imitation. I get takeout from here from time to time because it has some healthy options and the kids like it. But, if there were a Zankou closer to my place, I don’t think I would bother stopping here. I want to see these people do well, but they seem terribly indifferent. And so am I.

Good mix of food, that definitely doesn’t hurt the wallet. Another close by option for a post LA zoo meal. Since it’s a little bit sleepy of spot, they can probably take up to a medium sized group without much of a wait.

The food& service is excellent here! The cashier lady was so nice even though I came 30mins to their closing time. She took my order very kindly and made me feel at home. I got their filet mignon kabob and it was soooooo sooo delicious! Will definitely come again :)

Haven’t been here in a while. It’s a bit sleepy and lots of take out orders but they are running a good special right now. 2 dinner specials and get one for free. This equals to 1.5 chickens, 6 sides, pitas. Lunch special is buy one get one free. The décor is kinda barebones and the parking situation is interesting but the taste is still top notch.

Love their chicken here. Especially the garlic butter that they give you. Yea I’m Mexican, so when I get ahold of the Pita and started stuffing it like a burrito. Love the rice here too. Great for the something«small» lol.

I’m surprised how people seem not to know of Sevan chicken. The chicken is pretty good, but the deals are amazing. The ¼ chicken deal is one of the best deals here. The deals are definitely worth checking out.

Sevan chicken should have more reviews! Honestly. maybe it doesn’t taste as good as Zhankou, maybe it is better than Zhankou but one thing is forsure is that the deals are way better at sevan. Go for the BOGI ¼ chicken lunch special that will feed 2 people for less than $ 10. And 2 sides each, yessss seasoned fries! And that beautiful garlic spread. Spread that stuff onto every single bite of my pita.

I have to say the Chicken is so flavorful and juicy. That garlic dip sauce is wonderful and the rice is good too. Friday night was my second time coming here. I wondered why no one was eating there. Both times I’ve come I wondered why it was empty. First of all, I will always come back because the food is awesome. However, the dining room lacks a lot to be desired. And the one thing that really stood out to me on Friday night was the strong pungent smell of men’s cologne. I wanted to turn around and walk out of there, but since I was the only customer there I felt bad, though I was craving the chicken. That right there is something that made me want to leave badly, when I got the food in my car, the combination of chicken and cologne was nauseating. I’m not sure if that is from one of the workers or from a customer. But it was so strong leaving a lingering odor making me think about not going there again. I really really hope that it was a previous customer, if it was an employee, then that’s bad.

My second time trying this place. First time wasnt so great so i thought i should give it a 2nd attempt. Ordered the Chicken Kabob plate + drink = $ 11. Chicken had zero flavor. From the looks alone, the kabob looked promising but had no taste whatsoever. Plate doesnt come with garlic paste either. The hummus was decent though. Rice was ok. There are too many other good kabob places in the area compared to Sevan.

Get 2 Dinners(2 whole chickens, 3 sides, garlic sauce) for $ 18.01 and get 1 Dinner FREE! That’s really not the only reason that brings me here. I’ve been coming to Sevan for years and their rotisserie chicken is why I keep coming back for more… plus the fact that they serve crinkle cut french fries :). I prefer them over Zankou any day for that reason. The chicken is seasoned to perfection and is always fork tender, no knife is needed. The meat just falls off the bone. You can order a combination of ¼, ½, or whole chicken with basmati rice, garden salad, hummus, beans, or french fries and pita bread. One thing that is a must try is the garlic sauce. If you love garlic like I do, you have to try it, I can eat that with rice alone and be happy. It is that good. I dip my fries in it or add it to the pita with chicken and rice. I have noticed that eating a little more than one garlic sauce tends to make me nauseous afterward, though. I guess there really is too much of a good thing :(. Aside from the chicken and sides, I haven’t tried anything else, but I’m sure everything is just as delectable. The service here is always fast and friendly. What’s nice is that I can call in my order and have it waiting for me in 10 minutes. If you dine in, there is plenty of seating either inside or outside.
