I’ve read a couple of reviews for this location and thought I should chime in after a visit today for lunch. One of my coworkers is in town for business and we decided to stop but I’ll admit I had some misgivings. I’m a more salad-oriented guy so I was a bit skeptical that I’d find a low carb, healthy option but there were a couple choices on the menu that actually looked appealing. I am shocked to report that the baja cobb was truly delightful. I had grilled chicken added and honestly can’t remember another healthy lunch that I enjoyed as much. Who knew you could find a decent salad in a burger joint? As an aside, I’ll say that management must have received some feedback on the attitude of staff members because every person I encountered that worked here(3 actually) was pleasant and more helpful than any other fast food casual place I’ve been in… by FAR. PS — Next time I plan to try the traditional cobb(you’re probably noticing a cobb theme). I need that in my life.

Let me start off by saying for a long time I have really liked Smashburger. Until I moved close to this location. Since then I have not been able to go in and pick up a togo order with out something being drastically wrong with it. Tonight I decided to get them another shot after not going there for a while. When I got home with my burger I opened it up and was dumbfounded when I realized the burger did not have ANYMEATONIT! Called the store and spoke to Gilbert the manager who did the right thing and tried to do the right thing and take it off my card and offer me a free burger and some coupons, which I declined since they have lost my business forever. Good times here I come!

It’s bad… really bad. Okay, so I came in expecting slightly better than fast food quality. Since I have never been to a Smashburger I wasn’t sure of the difference between the regular burger and the big burger. Apparently neither was the lady who took my order because her response to my question was«it’s bigger». Umm… okay. She then proceeds to try to show me the size of the burger using her hands. I ordered a regular burger with smash fries. My fiancé’s burger arrived about 5 minutes before mine. Then an employee came out, looking confused and asked if we were waiting for anything else. Hmm… When my burger finally arrived it was very underwhelming. It looked completely unappetizing. It tasted okay but really not any better than a fast food burger. The fries weren’t much better. They were too greasy and the flavor was off. Overall, a bad experience. Poor customer service, employees who have no clue what they are doing, and food that simply is not that good.

I will say that the food is always on point. This location could use some help in the friendly staff department. They don’t greet you when you walk in at all and are very short as they take your order. If the food wasn’t so good and so close to my house, I wouldn’t visit this location.

I don’t normally write reviews, but the custom service is so terrible here that I’m hoping the owner reads it. We like the smashburger food a lot, but the staff at this location is awful. Not even sure where I’d begin. For example, Asking for cheese on the side of a salad order shouldn’t be met with a bad look and attitude!

Wow what a terrible experience! I truly think places like smash brothers and other franchise restaurants should look into hiring an OLDER generation of people because the crew on 2÷15÷16 @ 9:30pm was completely horrible! As I’m typing this review a female customer has been sitting at the register waiting to be helped for the last 15 minutes. Maybe it’s because of the loud music playing in the kitchen idk. Matter of fact the cooks music was so loud it was protruding into the dining area and was like listening to a mash up of country western and dubstep! I mean every time a customer pulled in the parking lot the cook and manager(assuming he was the manager because he was the only person with a red shirt) start talking stuff like they did not want to be there! I wish people like this would just quit. On top of all this I ordered 1 chicken Colorado lettuce wrap, 1 regular Colorado lettuce wrap, and a chicken cucumber and spinach and I added avocado to all 3 sandwiches and guess what? I did not receive not one slice of avocado! lol They had such TERRIBLE attitudes and I really didn’t want to get my food spit in so I just quietly ate and left. Extremely unprofessional and I hope I don’t get sick is the feeling I’m feeling as I type these final words… Scary and shameful! Get it together

Horrible costumer service ! I hate to eat where the employees dread a customer walking in the door ! And then I got served something different from what I ordered It’s just sad what they put in front of me. A 2 year old could have made me a better burger ! And there’s playing explicit gangsta rap in the kitchen loud and obnoxious ! It’s just uncomfortable and unprofessional environment . Don’t get me wrong I LOVE smash burger but this location sucks !

I work construction and wanted a good lunch. The guy brought me my burger after he brought it to another table and left it there for a few. I should have said something, but i was exhausted and did not feel like getting worked up. I never want to have to compromise myself again. I will never eat at any smash burger location again if that is how they operate. I went to McDonalds rather than going there again. I also eat out with lots of my friends. Smash burger is no longer an option if I am in the group.

Disappointed with the whole experience — I use to think that Smash Burger was a great stop for a quality burger. The service at the counter was slow, the restaurant was dirty, and the burger came out undercooked. I’ll think twice before coming back.

For fast food this place is great. My birger had a lot of flavor and was cooked well. It had bacon on it and it wasn’t that fake thin stuff you get at most fast food place. It was thick and crispy. And it had avocado so it can’t get much better then that. I’m not the biggest fan of shoestring fries but they were pretty good(getting them seasoned is a must). The price was totally fair a bit more expensive then the run of the mill fast food but 100% worth the slight increase. The staff was super friendly as well. It’s really close to where I work so it might be deadly for me as I will be coming back more then once.

Always consistent burgers. Milkshakes are fantastic and come in a variety of favors. My favorite is salted caramel. Staff are friendly, service is efficient even on busy days. Great option for lunch when looking for a burger and only able to spend 30-min.

I have tried a different SB in Chandler, Az and it was awesome. i dined in with a group… HOWEVER, this particular location is not up to par. I arrived late afternoon. ordered for myself and friend. My guy wanted a shake. I watched the gal make it and she only put about ¾ in the cup and filled it past the top with a tower of whip cream. She proceeded to hand me my to go order and walked away with the rest of the shake I PAID for and began eating it with a spoon. Didn’t even hide it. Secondly. The burgers were prepared wrong and missing add ons… So we wont be ordering from this location. and not sure we would even go back to any location. 1 bad customer experience can be costly. so i hope they can step it up a notch.

Randomly stopped here, eating a Colorado burger for the first time. Ordered the large burger. It was so good, I devoured it before my buddy that outweighs me by 85 lbs. The chilies are spicy, and the cashiers service was great!

I was pretty disappointed. I went mid-afternoon to pick up a quick meal. It felt like there were 10 employees working and about 10 customers and still the service was slow and flawed. They forgot to include my fries in my order. The guy was very apologetic about leaving them out which was very nice but I only ordered fries and a burger so it was a weird oversight. The food was also pretty disappointing. The Smash fries were dripping with olive oil which overpowered the potato. The black bean burger was not put together well and just generally disappointing. I threw away most of my $ 8 half way through it.

Say Hello To A Denver Original! Smashburger was born and raised right here in Denver, Colorado. Founded in 2007 by Rick Schaden and private equity firm, Consumer Capital Partners, the company currently has more than three hundred corporate and franchise restaurants in thirty-two states and five countries. So what sets this fast casual burger restaurant chain apart from others? The food! It’s always about the food! Smashburger has quite the impressive menu, chock-full of Certified Angus Beef burgers, veggie burgers, chicken sandwiches, salads, sides, and incredible hand-spun shakes and malts made with Häagan-Dazs ice cream. And there are a ton of toppings and customized options to make your meal the best meal it can be. I’d give Smashburger two thumbs up, but I need them for holding my burger and stuffing my face!

Went today for the 1st time and I was not impressed. For the price I was expecting something bigger & better. I feel that it is a step above fast food burgers but not on par with other«burger» joints. It was something we definitely won’t go out of our way to try again. Also, my husband tried their«buffalo fries» and there was a dash of the buffalo seasoning and that was it. Very underwhelming.

Pretty good burger place. Pretty standard fare. I do love their smash fries! Olive oil covered fries and seasonings are wonderful. Pretty quick to eat when we were there. The seating area is a tad bit small, they are trying to fit in a lot of tables in a little space. It does make it a challenge to move around in here when it is busy.

I have a general rule of not reviewing chains but I feel obligated to spread the Smashburger gospel given how hard it is to find a good burger. To put it succinctly Smashburger offers the best burger money can buy. I know that is a very brazen statement to make but it is the truth so help me God. I got the Truffle Mushroom Swiss which blew me away. The meat was flavorful and the buns were nice and buttery. In addition they make their milk shakes using Haagen Dazs ice cream and not surprisingly they are amazing. The low point of the meal unfortunately was the fries which in all honesty McDonalds makes better. For my friends in the 408 fear not you don’t need to make the trek all the way to Colorado to sample this deliciousness. I looked at Smashburgers website and apparently they have a few branches in the Sacramento area. Trust me it is worth the drive.
