Oh, I wanted to have the best time here! I am moving to the area soon, and was house hunting. I got the lunch special: $ 8.99 for a half of a pulled pork that comes with a side(sweet potato fries of course!) and either soup or salad. The salad was actually quite good, but a pulled pork sandwich was not meant to be cut in half! I like their root beer beer but have high hopes for a return trip soon.

Food isn’t good at all. i guess the positive is that i didn’t get sick but its not much better than that. menu is weird with schnitzel and nachos and flatbread. kind of all over the place. everything we ordered was bland and easy stuff like fried food and had a bad taste like it was fried in old oil. on a side note, we went there because it is supposed to be kid friendly and they were out of kid’s menus. weird. does that mean your printer is out of ink?

Our previous two experiences weren’t that great. Service was poor and the food was poor. But tonight made up for those experiences. Our waiter Jon was fantastic. He was on top of our drinks and was extremely nice. Our appetizer came out promptly(twas delicious), I ate the Jaegerschnitzle as my entrée and it was Incredible. I would recommend this place for anyone to give a shot. oh, and make sure you try the Apple Pie Beer! .

The service was really slow even though there wasn’t that many people here. I ordered the Rueben and cheese potatoes. The rueben wasn’t that good it barely had any meat on it. The potatoes was so so, I’m going to take them home and fix them up. The rueben as well. I’ll come back because the atmosphere is really nice.

It’s ok. I’m not a fan of the food to be fair, but I like the restaurant and have been here a fair number of times. It’s nice getting their root beer on tap, but their other tap selections for alcoholic beverages leaves a lot to be desired. They have the Sprecher flavors of course, and if that’s what you want then it’s pretty great. As a non beer drinker though it’s a pretty lousy bar. Their cider selection is for crap and their wines haven’t been much better. I want to love their food more, but it seems like everytime I go there is a reason why it’s not as good as it sounded. Either it’s cold, tasteless or just bad tasting. Sometimes it super salty, sometimes not seasoned at all as far as I can tell. Sometimes its OK. I never can tell what I’m going to get. It’s never terrible. I’ve never had to send anything back. But I’ve also never said«Wow that was great!» either. The crow out front is a big draw for my kids though. Seems like every time we walk past they have to stop and play with it or ask for a picture with it. But I’ve stopped taking them inside to eat. There are just so many better options at Bayshore that don’t disappoint as a default.(like Collectivo, Blaze or Hom for instance).

I don’t know why I keep giving this place a chance. I guess the cartoon crows get me every time. So I thought maybe a different location would yield a better result. Wrong. Food was meh to ick. Kiddos do still love the soda. Beer cheese soup was the worst I’ve ever experienced — it’s beer and cheese, how do you mess that up??? There are MUCH better places to eat in Wisconsin, and much better beer as well. Get the soda.

All of what we had was great! Service was good too. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars was that they were out of a number of items when we sat down. Both of us had one item that they were out of. Other than that, we’ll definitely be going back when we’re in town.

I wish I could get more excited about this place. It’s such a visually satisfying location. The restaurant itself is well sized and the bar area is inviting. It’s nestled into the courtyard area of the mall. Being located in Bayshore helps give it the cool surroundings vibe especially for being midway to the burbs. This area in the summer is always bustling and great to hangout. I must say though Sprecher’s is just OK. Nothing out of the ordinary to keep me coming back out this way consistently. The food is fair and the drinks aren’t bad but nothing to write home to mom about.

I really like this place, they had great service and a lot of beer options and you can buy stuff to go in bottles as well along with growlers. I do not get a chance try any food because my wife was early but I did get a buzz on in the bar tab was pretty cheap being from Chicago

Went to Sprecher’s on a Wednesday night after work. Wasn’t very busy and parking wasn’t that bad either. Pretty big, open facility with a good amount of seating. The feel was similar to the brewery if you’ve ever been there. Got nachos for an appetizer and a burger for dinner, both were fine. The nachos were actually quite large — I wasn’t expecting that size, but I’m not complaining! The burger was as you’d expect. Service could have been better, waiting 20+ min for the drink order to arrive, another 20 to have food order taken, another 20 for food to arrive and then nothing for over half an hour when the check was dropped off. In her defense, though, it seemed like she was working in several areas so I don’t believe it was due to lack of caring, just an off day in staffing. They have a TON of sodas, all which are awesome(some you can get«hard»): Root Beer Cream Soda Puma Kola Ginger Ale Orange Dream Grape Cherry-Cran Cherry Cola For beer, I’m not that adventurous and I’m a bit of a wimp when it comes to the darker stuff. That said, I’d recommend Fire-Light or Abbey-Triple. In all, I wouldn’t rush right back, but I would come back if I was in the area.

Shop ’til you drop or until you get hungry! Sprecher is a great brewery but I’d never had their food so I was excited to check this place out. The beer cheese soup is spot on! The perfect combo of beer and cheese. Baked French onion soup was good not great. Really liked my club sandwich. Avocado makes just about anything better. Fish fry was good and also important to note, great cole slaw. Service, a bit slow considering they weren’t crazy busy. Cool thing about this place is that if you really like Sprecher, you can buy their gear, sodas and brews at their mini gift shop.

Sprecher’s is located in my community. Pros: Friendly servers. Cons: Mediocre service. Subpar food quality. The amount of sodium and sugar from nearly every menu item I have ordered was an assault on my tastebuds. In addition, the front-of-house food and menu knowledge was minimal. Buyer beware is all that I can say. I will not return based on my experiences during 4 visits during the past year.

This is our 3rd time here since the restaurant opened. I have to say this was probably the best overall experience… However, there were still issues. But first, the positives. Unlike other visits, our family was impressed by the attentive service we received. The servers came often to check on us, but weren’t pushing to clear our table. They were knowledgeable about the menu and were able to have the chef customize our kids cheese curd burgers to their liking. Also, my wife’s Jagerschnitzel was excellent, just juicy enough without overwhelming the breading. Now, for the issues. The Scotch Egg had very little flavor outside of the root beer mustard. Also, my Taco Trio(one each of ground beef, chicken and fried tilapia) was nearly inedible. The ground beef and chicken tacos were cooked so long that they were gritty. But, I did like the slaw on top as well as the Southwest Quinoa as my side. Overall, our experience was good, not great.

I’ve returned to Sprecher’s several times since my last review. I have honestly had nothing less than amazing service at the bar and in the dining area. There are always many beers and hard things(root beer/cider/ginger ale) on tap and drink specials. The food is great! The appetizers are HUGE — I have split the Chicken Nachos app for a meal. The Thai Chicken Lettuce Wraps are probably my favorite… relatively healthy and delicious, and tons of food! The flatbreads are amazing — I highly recommend the buffalo chicken flatbread. The burgers are also super fantastic! Omg, they are all delicious — I’ve tried bites of so many of them but the Sconnie Burger and the Curd Burger are the top sellers. We have had Jon as a server the past couple visits. He is very polite and attentive. He had great food recommendations the last visits for appetizers and entrees. Everything was perfect! I definitely recommend Sprecher’s at Bayshore for a drink, small bite to eat, or meal when shopping at the mall. Kids get unlimited sodas here! The food and service has been very good on each of my visits. I will definitely return :)

I was in Milwaukee recently. This is definitely a great craft beer place paying homage to their German ancestry. I tried a beer with 8.5% alcohol. Tasted great and I definitely felt the effects afterwards. Lol On the food side I felt the burgers was a big greasy but then again considering the German roots of this place… It was not unexpected. Yet it was still delicious. I would definitely return if I came back to this city.

We visited Sprecher’s this summer and it was not too pleasant of an experience. It wasn’t busy at all and it didn’t take too long for us to figure out why. They seemed severely understaffed. We were seated outside on their patio and actually contemplated leaving by the time the waitress actually showed up. We ended up just ordering a few appetizers(cheese curds, nachos, hummus) and a drink(I had a Moscow Mule from their specialty menu). The food was super greasy and just not that good. We did like the hummus, though. My Moscow Mule was so, so strong, I thought I was drinking straight alcohol. I really enjoyed my experience at the actual Sprecher’s Brewery, but their restaurant is another story.

I have been here a few times now for lunch. It is decent. The German name may lead you to think that you are coming into a place with lots of German selections. You are not. There are some. I would say that there is not even 50% of the menu that is German. The place offers a good variety of burgers, salads and flatbreads as well as other American dishes. I have tried the ruben and the pork schnitzel here. Both were decent but not the best I ever had. Please do not get me wrong here. You can come to this place and get a decent and fairly priced meal in a nice place that offers good service. There is probably something for everyone here including those who have a taste for a bit of German. But be aware that to me it is the American version of German. You decide for yourself.

This is a great casual dining spot located at the bay shore mall. The staff is friendly and attentive. I have had several different dishes here and have alwAys added beer cheese soup– it is delicious! Parking is my only complaint at this location. Parking is very limited at bay shore with street side metered spots unless you hike to the Parking garage. I definetly frequent this resteraunt because of both its great food and nice atmosphere. Join the pub club they have for additional savings.

I was lured to Sprecher’s Restaurant with some friends for the«Build your own Bloody Bar,» and, let’s be honest… that’s pretty much the easiest way to get me anywhere. Located where Bravo used to be, at the Bayshore Town Center, Sprecher caters to family dining, with beers AND sodas on taps, bright atmosphere, and general american style food. The service was friendly and non intrusive, and the food was decent and moderately priced. While I only had a few bites of different offerings, nothing really stood out as anything amazing. The main draw for me was the bloody bar, and while it wasn’t by any means bad, it didn’t really offer anything to draw me back. The garnishes provided were certainly plentiful, but seemed to have been put out, left there, then forgotten about until someone would point out that a particular item was empty. I’ll give the benefit of the doubt, as it was a very slow day, and we were the only ones using it… it doesn’t make sense to put out an entire fresh tray of wings for us if we’re only going to take two or three… When ordering the B.Y.O. Bloody, the server hands you a ticket to bringto the bar, where the bartender will pour the liquor and rim the glass for you before handing it back to you, but there was a time where I stood by the tables for 5 minutes before the bartender nearby came over or acknowledged that I was there. All in all, while decent in food and drink selection, Sprecher falls comfortably in the category of place you’d bring your family, because there’s something everybody will like, and you want to be more fancy than Applebees. While I wouldn’t ever go out of my way to visit, if we were at Bayshore, and my friends wanted to go for a quick lunch before a movie, I’d give it a solid«Eh, why not?»

I’m in Milwaukee for a business trip and our organization dined here after our meeting. I’m not sure how the prices were since we had drink tickets and a set menu. The restaurant is huge! There’s also a great outdoor area, but during this time of the season we were indoor. When I’m in the area again I’d definitely come back to have a meal or cocktails on their patio. I started at the bar and ordered an old fashion with my drink ticket. The bartender said that wasn’t a drink option with the ticket, but she’d make one for me anyhow. I thought that was pretty cool. It’s too bad I didn’t enjoy the drink much, there was way too much cherry syrup, but I appreciated the effort. I probably should have known not to order an old fashion here anyhow. For dinner we started off with some preordered appetizers. Pretzels with a cheese and mustard dip, stuffed mushrooms, and rueben bites. I was surprised at myself for loving the stuffed mushrooms so much. The whole mushroom was breaded, tender, and seasoned well. My table loved the rueben bites, they dissappered quickly. I’m a fan of ruebans in general, but the bites didn’t do it for me. I was missing the Swiss cheese, although the description says it’s there. The pretzel sticks were nice and buttery, and the cheese wasn’t super intense like I’ve found other places to be. For my dinner I chose the french onion soup, schnitzel, and chocolate bliss for dessert. French onion soup was good, not too salty, with lots of cheese melted to the bowl. It wasn’t the best I’ve ever had, but decent. I’ve never had schnitzel before, but I LOVED it. It’s a thin pork chop breaded with an over easy egg with a lemon caper sauce. A friend at the table said it’s usually made with veal, but for me not knowing that, I was perfectly happy with my pork chops. It had a perfect golden brown crust, the egg yolk spilled over the pork when I sliced into it, and the sauce on top just brought it all together. The meal came with cheesy potatoes, and green beans as well. The sides were okay, the cheese was too much for me on the potatoes. The chocolate bliss had a lot of potential. It was decadent, nutty, creamy, and had some fruit elements. It was just a bit dry. However, I tasted the white chocolate crème brûlée that was also offered and it was delicious. It had that perfect crack when you went in with your spoon. It didn’t taste like white chocolate though, more like vanilla. Service was awesome! They were friendly, fast, and came by many times. The food was kind of hit or miss, but I’d come again because I know what I do like, and also because the service was good.
