Big Fish is a truly divey dive bar. Ive had much drunken fun here. Sadly, The Big Fish has been sold & is currently closed. I guess its gonna be revamped into… who knows what, but i know it wont be my neighborhood dive bar anymore. Its the end of an era.

The king of dive bars. the barkeep is old and hilariously grumpy. drinks are stiff and cheap. the patrons are tipsy. seriously everyone is drunk. and EVERYONE has a story. you want a place that takes you places then hit up the fish

This bar had acceptional service! From the bartenders to the comedians performing I was completely enthused and entertained beyond my wildest expectations. The decorations are numerous and meaningful on the inside of the establishment. My apologies for only ordering three waters, however, it was the eighteenth out of twenty four miles on my journey through LOSANGELES. Furthermore, I was two days ahead of payday anyhow. There were a few attractive ladies there with friends. Pretty awesome environment I must reiterate that the bar is decorated perfectly. The conversation and company was very soothing at this ambient little place nestled near Burbank. I was thrilled to be able to enjoy a Chicago Anaheim hockey-e game and stand up comedy! So much fun and thank you all!

Hidden gem in Glendale! My favorite dive bar in town. Stumbled into this place when my sister move up the street. Live bands play great music. Drinks are stiff and reasonably priced. Super cool crowd. Mikey and Chris are the best bartenders ever! They might get you round of drinks if your worthy.

The bar provides a pleasant atmosphere for folks. April, Peter, & Billy Dilly are good folks that care about the upkeep & the bar patrons enjoyment. Tuesday night is comedy night, possibly worth seeing. Possibly not.

A fresh breathe of a hole in the wall. With all these bar trying to by fancy and create an atmosphere… this place has it. old school karaōke, a friendly bartender, reasonably priced drinks… what more could one ask for?

This review is ENTIRELY about KJ Tony and Karaōke thursday. Apparently the only way to sing is if you are best friends with the KJ or majorly kiss his ass. I arrived at the very start of the night before karaōke had even been set up and put my name in. I saw the list later in the night and I was #6 in rotation. I sang for the first time at 10pm and never again for the rest of the night(close at 2am) while every one else sang 2 and 3 times(less than 20 people total singing all night). I approached him to ask why this was and he spoke to me like I was an idiot. He told me that I just sang, when I corrected him that it had been nearly 2 hours since I sang he just told me no I was wrong and he’d get to me when he’d get to me which clearly was never. I’ve never been treated so poorly by anyone who A) is a complete stranger and B) relies heavily on tips to survive. His whole karaōke set up was very masturbatory. He was constantly singing(on mic) with 80% of the people who performed except for when he was making time to do his own solo numbers. One of the worst karaōke I’ve experienced in all of Los Angeles.

It took forever to get service and it was $ 17 for 3 beers in a dive bar. Other than that the atmosphere was cool. Might go again if I was already three drinks deep.

My first night here, I came as guest with the guys from Luna Is Honey. That night was some wild, hideous cray-cray! And that’s why you should come here. Big Fish is dope because it’s a janky neighborhood dive with the sickest karaōke night ever. I’ve had so much fun here over the years. My last time was with a big group of friends. We sang«(I Had) The Time of My life» from Dirty Dancing. It was all off key and crazy. I laid down face to the floor and sang my part of the duet. My friend Kareem worked his Mariah hand and it sounded like death warmed over. Everyone laughed. They also make a mean Shirley Temple.

Pool table and darts classic«Dive» and locals only bar, they have a tv so you could call it a sports bar. Live music on the stage some nights and the bartender that will tell you a story for every story you got

Love this place my favorite bar in Glendale. Cheap drinks, heavy pours and good company. This place has a lot of regulars and there all nice and friendly to talk to. Thursday and Saturday nights with tony the kj are good night to go. Friday there are some pretty good bands and on Tuesdays it’s lousy stand up comedy night. The only draw back about this place is they only have bud and coors light on tap. Also don’t forget they got drinks of the month at a good price. Hope to see you there.

The Big Fish is everything that a dive bar should be. Cold brews, jukebox, karaōke, pool table, and really chill locals. Bonus points for board games, used books and a piano(?!). There’s nothing fancy about this place, but that’s what makes it perfect.

Nice little dive bar with an eclectic mix of clientele and friendly bartenders. Stopped by on a quest for a place to get a cheap drink(we are sick of paying $ 12 for a ‘premium’ cocktail or a small pour) — sometimes you just want a drink and a chat without getting robbed! Local«Billy Dilly» entertained us with all sorts of drunken ramblings and sweet smiles. Will be back when I am in the area. I want to check out their Thursday comedy night sometime.

Quick review and explanation of scores. –2 stars: selection of draft beer was bud and bud light. That’s it. +2 stars: staff was friendly and approachable. +1 star: interior is perfectly divey without being dirty or trashy –2 stars: went on Saturday for Karaōke. KJ was charging a fee PERSONG. WHATTHEHELL? Karaōke is supposed to boost liquor sales as an attraction, not the other way around. Good KJs get tips. This one got none from me. +3 stars: super affordable for any bar, let alone a valley bar. So, there you go. Adds up to 2 stars. Will probably improve if beer selection or karaōke improves.

FINALLY! A well balanced pool table & straight cues. However the felt runs fast. Great laid back atmosphere & though I’ve only been here a few times, the regulars don’t stare you down & the bartenders treat you like you’ve been bellying up to the bar for years! There are a couple of tvs at each end of the bar. In all honesty, I can’t even tell you if they were flatscreens or not. Yeah, their drinks are good & strong & well priced for today’s economy! Sometimes parking on the Big Fish lot is a stretch & when you do find a spot you’ll notice how small the space is. Park on the street & walk. After you’ve had few drinks in ya, you’ll sober up that much more on the walk back to your car. Yuuuuup! I’m a fan. Thanks Big Fish for welcoming me & my guests with open arms! Enjoy. Drnik rsesponsbly or call a txai. Bceuse yuo desrve to be infmord. dee®z out.
