Join us at the North Shore’s newest pub and grill — The Brick. Located across from Kletzsch Park, our newly renovated restaurant offers a variety of food and drink options patrons can enjoy on our two outdoor patios, in a four season sun room or beautiful dining room, or seated at a unique horseshoe shaped bar.
Ten TVs make us the perfect place to catch the big game, and Packer specials are featured weekly. Our menu features a mix of appetizers, salads, burgers, sandwiches, vegetarian items, and gluten free options with unique dishes to keep you coming back.
History
Established in 2015.
In 1961, Louie Hren opened Wren’s, a restaurant located on the corner of Green Bay Avenue and Mill Road where the Kletzsch Park softball diamond now stands. Much loved by the Glendale community, Wren’s thrived as a local favorite.
In 1981, the family opened Wren’s II across the street from their original restaurant, in the same location that is now The Brick. Louie’s youngest grandson, Tim, started helping his grandpa by cleaning the restaurant when he was only six years old. Young Tim dreamed of a day when he would take over the family business, but when Grandpa Louie retired, he sold Wren’s II.
Tim continued to work in the restaurant industry while earning his living building cabinets; never forgetting his dream of running the restaurant his grandpa had built. In December 2014, he made it happen. For nine months, with the help of dedicated friends, family members and skilled local subcontractors, Tim redesigned, gutted and rebuilt the building. Business Owner
Tim has grown up in the restaurant business. His family owned and operated a restaurant called «Wren’s II» in the same location that The Brick is now located. As early as Tim can remember he spent time with his grandpa and uncle helping clean and then cook at the restaurant. During his 20s Tim bartended and cooked at various places, until finally he was able to purchase his family’s restaurant back and run it with is wife Chelsea.
