The Den

I’ve been going to Jason for about 3 years. I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my hair! To prove that Jason is a step above other barbers, I recently moved to Irvine and still make the 50 mile drive from Irvine to Glendale to get a cut from Jason!

Jason has done a great job with this new place! My son has been going to him and loves the way he cuts his hair. He has very thick straight hair and Jason has a phenomenal way of styling it for him. We have been to so many places and finally found the best!

The Den is a great place to get a haircut. Jason is an awesome barber and his shop is very nice and comfortable. I highly recommend The Den to anyone looking for a new, long term barber solution.
Be sure to make an appointment though, The Den is a small operation with only one chair.

Incredibly clean cuts, he understands what you’re asking for and can also advise what would look best in case your not 100% sure what you’re looking for. The location is conveniently located by tons of shopping and dining areas. Highly recommend you set your appointment as soon as possible!

My boyfriend has been getting his haircut from Jason for years now and, as a girlfriend, I could not give a stronger recommendation. When my boyfriend decided he wanted to grow his hair out, I was not happy. But he started going to Jason and, ever since, his hair is amazing! It’s always cut well and stylish. My boyfriend says that Jason will always listen to how he wants his hair cut, gets his feedback during the hair cut, and will go out of his way to make sure he’s happy.
Whatever he is doing, it works. Because my boyfriend comes back with a clean, fresh, good looking cut every time.
Oh and btw, my boyfriend is Asian. He has had a hard time finding a person who can cut his Asian hair in the past, but Jason was able to cut his hair perfectly even on the first try.

I enjoy a nice clean cut, that is exactly what I received here today. In Glendale that’s hard to find if not near impossible. Note I am picky very picky, if you care about the way you look and don’t want to regret your cut later. Come to the den, I’m not lying when I say I am picky and I know what a good cut looks like. Free wash with your cut, and he will help you find what looks best on your hair style, maybe your like me and you want your barber to just keep you up to trend and do his magic, that’s what I got. Jason has been cutting my hair for over 4 years and he has always done a great job! I have difficult hair and was unable to find someone who knew how to cut it before Jason. Aside from being a highly skilled barber, Jason is also a really cool person who is easy to get along with. I recommend Jason to anyone who asks for a good barber!

I’ve been getting my hair cut and styled by Jason for almost 5 years now. This guys is fantastic! A lot of barbers that I’ve been to in the past seem to take the hack and slash approach to men’s hair, but Jason takes the time and effort to make you look good. I’ve always walked out of his shop looking and feeling great about my cut, and my girlfriend wholeheartedly endorses him as well, which should tell you something. His place is really comfortable and a relaxing place to get a haircut. Nice and quiet and not overcrowded or anything. I definitely would recommend Jason to anyone. Go check him out! Do it!!!

This guy knows what he is doing frankly the best I’ve seen in LA.
The location is perfect for me and i love the fact that it is a private room.

Didn’t know why my last review didn’t go through.
My first time with Jason was about 5 years ago. I would never go else where because I know I will not be able to get the same result with anybody else. He IS the best barber in town. Every visit is always a great time with him, and the result is phenomenal. Call now!
He is also very consistent with his service. You won’t be able to find that in every barber

I started to go to Jason over four years ago when he worked in Pasadena and I lived over there. He was the first barber I found (thanks to Unilocal!), and I have not gone to anyone else since. Even though I now live in Laurel Canyon, I would make the trek out to Pasadena just to get my hair cut by Jayson. Very happy he now has his own place closer to my neck of the woods!
Jayson is one of the easiest going guys you will meet. Very grounded, kind, courteous, inquisitive, a great conversationalist, and he has a great sense of humor. He does great work, but it is his calm demeanor and upbeat personality that make it a joy to go and see him

This dude knows style. You wouldn’t go to a physical trainer that was over weight right??? Well Jason always has a different new look, always in style! The BEST think about Jason is I can take 2 – 3 photos to him of a cut I want and he can fit a cut not exactly the same but even better a cut that fits my head and hair type. EVEN better the cut looks great as it grows. Forget getting a cut that only looks good for a 3 – 4 days. Pssssh that’s for the birds. Jason takes the time to give you a cut that looks great all the way up until hour next one.

I am extremely particular about who cuts my hair. I have to trust the person and they have to be reliable. Jason is both trust worthy and always reliable. He is always on time and does a great job. Jason has been my Barber for over 3 years now and every cut is clean and consistent. My wife also notices how good of a job he does and compliments me every time.
It’s great to come here get a good cut and have GREAT conversations. Always something good to talk about, Jason is always good company, someone you would want to hang out with on the weekends.

I’ve been going to Jason for a couple of years now. When he moved farther away I didn’t even think about going to anyone else. It’s a very hip spot and it’s easy to book online on Style Seat. Also, there is free 90 min. parking at the public garage down the block.

Jason is a throwback who takes pride in the craft of barbering. I don’t let anybody else touch my hair, he always gets it right. I’ve been through a few style changes over the years with him and he always seamlessly transitions my looks. He understands what I’m looking for with just a few words, and has an incredible memory to remember the details of your prior cuts so if you’re getting the same thing you don’t even need to tell him.
Not only is he talented, but you can tell he has passion for his profession. He also happens to be a great guy to talk to so your time in Jason’s chair is not just a chore, but something to look forward to. The Den feels old school, like a place Sinatra would feel comfortable in, while being thoroughly modern at the same time.
I was once told the two keys to being stylish are 1) find a good tailor and barber, and 2) never lose them. Once you find Jason you’d be foolish to lose him.
