Trader Joe’s

Today was my first time in Trader Joe’s and I was very impressed. The staff was absolutely amazing. Melissa was such a sweetheart and made my first time experience very pleasant. I had only stopped in for some chia seeds and ended up leaving with a small collection of goodies. The store was busy but even the shoppers were polite. I will definitely be back. I really appreciated the friendly atmosphere and wonderful customer care. Thank you Melissa

All the workers here are so nice and have such a good spirit. It makes shopping here so pleasant. :)

My favorite place to go grocery shopping. Everyone is exceptionally friendly, and attentive. If they see you are a regular they make sure to go out of their way to welcome you. I love the entire staff here.

My experience with the cashier sealed the deal for me. Man, the other employees walking throughout the store and stocking shelves were so helpful and friendly. I love Trader Joes, but not this one. The older blonde/​white haired women at the register was so rude to me. I was disgusted. Not only did she ignore my friendly questions, but straight up turned around and started talking and laughing with customers in another line. She was so bitter toward me. Sorry TJs, maybe another time or location…

I love trader joes prices and the freshness of their produce. My kids love to go grocery shopping with me anytime I go here because they get to look for the special characters to get a prize and they also get to push their own kid carts

It’s very easy to spend a lot of money at Trader Joe’s, because they offer so many unique & diverse food items for reasonable prices.
–Service is friendly and helpful.
–Fresh flowers and herb plants available.
–Parking is plentiful, although depends on the time of day and week, it can be busy.
–Restrooms available through the double doors near the produce.
–Usually, there are food/​beverage samples to try new items or meal ideas.
–Located on Bell Road (behind Taco Bell) in front of Arrowhead Towne Center Mall.

I’ve been shopping here for years and years. I’m in love with this place. my family and I have pretty much tried everything this store has to offer. One of our favorites is the frozen Gorgonzola gnocchi. There is NO beating the cheeses in this store. They have an abundant selection and with the best prices in town. Not kidding. My family lives off the Rosemary Asiago and the Toscano cheese soaked in Syrah. The frozen veggies are by far a better choice then the normal market. There are so many variations of veggies and veggie combinations that you will not find at Fry’s. However, even with all theses praises I still only rate it four stars. The reason being is because of the prices and minuscule selection of their meats. These meat prices are horrid especially for frozen products. Meats are the only thing I leave behind at Trader Joe’s.

love Trader Joes. I used to be a Whole Foods regular but rarely go there anymore, as Whole Foods means Whole Paycheck. And Trader Joes has much better foods. It’s obvious that Trader Joes tests their foods before putting it out b/​c 90% of the time the food is really really tastey. Unlike Whole Foods that just puts out what they get and the food is hit or miss, mostly bland. Ok Here are my favorite regular foods at Trader Joes — The premade food section near the premade salads have some awesome stuff. The chickpee salad called Balayla or something is awesome. Totally addicted! The premade turkey and gravey with mashed potatoes is really really good. The Chicken Marsala is really really good. I like the low cost sushi, but it’s a little dry, they can ask the company to work on that issue, it would be great.
If you like chips with salsa, don’t get the pre-​made ones, get the freshly made salsa in the area that is by the meats. It is so delicious. The frozen food section has some really great things, the orange chicken and penang chicken are good. The edemame fried rice is delicious. The pizza’s are really really good. They used to have a pumpkin burrito which was so delicious. The frozen pasta dishes like alfredo are delicious. In the hummus section, try the eggplant hummus, it is delicious with those veggie chips they have dunked in the hummus.
Here are a few of my complaints — I only would buy the frozen meats b/​c the fresh meats that i have purchased that were organic smelled stinky several times i tried to buy them. They smelled foul! yuck. I would only get the frozen ones. Another complaint i have is the food coloring put in foods. I would rather not have cancer causing dies in foods. I see the food coloring in salmon, soy chorizo and other things that i won’t buy b/​c of it.
Another complaint is to get salmon from places like New Zealand and not get salmon from the Pacific Northwest or Alaska anymore. The government is covering up the fact that the Fukishima radiation is in our waters and it is radiating the fish, and the fish on the Pacific Northwest is now dangerous to eat with radiation. I only trust food from down south like New Zealand and that area.
In the premade section i didn’t like that alfredo noodles with chicken dish. The sauce tasted sour, but i didn’t heat it up before trying it, i don’t know if that would change the flavor. Some of the burritos i tried were horrible. Except the pumpkin burrito which were really good.
I won’t buy any of the frozen fish that is not from down south like New Zealand or the south pacific, because our oceans are filled with radiation from Fukishima and it’s dangerous to eat fish now that is close to United States on the West Side. The government won’t tell you the truth, because our government is secretly run by the illuminati and they are wanting to kill most of us off secretly. They are using GMOs to give people cancer and they are involved in lowering population levels using the food. So becareful. And look this up on youtube.

Trader Joes is awesome, everything I have tried here is amazing and reasonably priced. Some of my favorite things to buy are the fresh flowers and dark chocolates.

Found some beautiful fresh flowers as well as a delicious meatloaf, spring rolls, and several other items. I love walking around and buying new items I’ve never tried before as well as the staples ;)

You got to love a place that can have such a wide variety of great items at low prices. The place is always clean and staff helpful

So now that I’ve been here multiple times, I must say that the rude worker was probably having an off day. Every time I’ve been in here everyone has been super helpful, it’s always clean & everyone is friendly. LOVE TJ’s!

I make the 62 mile round trip about once a week; this is the closest TJ’s location to me.

TJ’s is my favorite place to buy food-​groceries, snacks, essentials-​they have it all. Their food is non-​GMO and made with quality, healthy ingredients. Their prices are always low and we have switched from Fry’s or Walmart for groceries to mostly TJ’s and the prices are consistently better without gimmick sales and ad match games.
I prefer the Surprise location because it’s closer to home and it’s much larger. Plus the people are much friendlier. This location has some weird ladies running checkouts that talk your ear off or talk to each other the whole time they’re ringing you up. It’s unprofessional and annoying. I only stop by this one for quick things I need if I’m in the area.

I can honestly say I have never had a bad experience at Trader Joe’s! Always great customer service, love the vegan options, and I absolutely love that all Trader Joe’s brands are GMO-​free! Doesn’t get better than that.

I’m always looking for great natural and organic grocery stores. Trader Joe’s is definitely one of my favorites. This branch was well organized and well stocked. Staff was friendly and sometimes they have free samples of selected products.
I noticed that they are also somewhat cheaper than other comparable stores, such as Sprouts or F&E.
We definitely came back home with a some new products that I cannot wait to try. Also, if you are a fan of natural frozen or ready meal, take a look at their frozen section. They have a large variety of frozen veggies, fruits, fish, and meat.

Trader Joe’s! What can I say, it’s one of those make me feel good stores? Trader Joe’s knows how to make you think you are doing something good just by shopping at their store. You start thinking how good you are by eating organic, even though you can’t afford to. But it works! And I do enjoy going there.

I go to Trader Joe’s for their frozen food and iced tea.
The Pomegranate Green Iced Tea My favorite iced tea of all time. It does run me a dollar fifty per 34oz bottle, but this is much better than my efforts at recreating it.
Although I do my other grocery shopping at Fry’s primarily due to proximity to my home, I do find that the quality of the freezer food for a bachelor like myself is quite good. Variety is a plus as well.
I should also mention that there is not a grocery store who cares more about their checkout lines not being an issue than Trader Joe’s. Someone is always on top of it and employees are constantly being pulled back to the checkout in short order when needed.
I don’t give a whole lot of 5/5’s but I can’t say I’ve had a poor experience at Trader Joe’s…ever.

I LOVE TJ’s selection of fresh flowers, plants and herbs. Great value and I’ve been doing amateur arrangements for my home. Customer service is always excellent here too! :)

I will seek out a Trader Joe’s no matter where I am. This particular store is not my favorite TJs in the Valley (the one at Tatum & Shea is) but they sell the same great products and have the same type of helpful and fun staff working the aisles and the registers.

You will find great tasting versions of all of the above in the frozen section at TJs.
Their Mediterranean Hummus is a game changer. You can’t find a better hummus at any store.
