We Rock the Spectrum Glendale

We celebrated my daughter’s 7^th birthday there yesterday and it was the best! Everyone enjoyed themselves, it was a safe and clean environment. The owner Michael and his assistant Vanessa really helped make our party a success. We have been going to this indoor gym over the weekends with our kids, but this is the first party we hosted there, and I am sure there will be many more we will host at We Rock The Spectrum!

Neat spot for kids! Writing this as an out of towner. Might give it 5 stars if I lived in the area and had occasion to visit more often. For me, 5 stars is «perfect.»
Pro’s:
— lots of different activities and open ended play options– trampoline, dress up, drum room, piano, tea set, swing, zip line, climbing area, monkey bars.
— Free for parents /​adults (totally don’t get why some kids museums/​places charge parents).
— Free parking (we came on a Mom around 11 am, and there was parking in front), and only a handful of kids inside.
— accommodates children of all abilities /​interests
— Staff was friendly.
— Tables/​chairs for parents to sit
— decently clean restrooms
— reasonable– $ 12 for one child, $ 10 for sibling
Could improve: Cleanliness. It wasn’t overtly dirty, but I did notice quite a bit of dust on the tops of the apparatuses. It would be nice to see an employee disinfect the equipment regulary. I noticed an autistic older gentleman biting his arm. The employee cleaned and bandaged his cut, but not the apparatus he was swinging on. From my health care/​mama perspective, this would be recommended.
We had a group of kids age 3 — 8 and they all had a great time and burned up lots of energy!
Would be nice if they had a childcare option (happy to pay a higher price), so parents could shop or dine across the street at the Grove.
Neat concept and fun place for kids.

Great spot to take kids to get some of the energy out. It’s been so cold lately and I wanted something indoor with lots of different equipment. They have a trampoline, small zip line, exercise equipment and best of all an instrument room where they can get their rock on with drums and other instruments. They offer private parties which is a great alternative to other big party places. We are considering doing a small group and bringing pizza and cake.
Area is clean and equipment is kept well. Staff is really pleasant.
My kids ages are 7 & 4 yrs old and they had a fantastic time.

Recently, I have been bringing my boys to this WRTS on a more consistent basis. I cannot believe how healing (and fun) it has been for them. They lost their father a month ago, so this is a sad time; but going to the gym and seeing familiar faces (Deborah and Michael are so caring) has definitely helped in the grieving process. All the apparatus, musical instruments, art table, costumes, trains… are like band aids on their hearts. Thank you.

Just had a private party for my son’s birthday today. The owner, Debra as well s her two assistants were extremely helpful in setting up, running the party smoothly and cleaning up. They were very attentive to the kids’ needs and insured that all were able to safety access all that this wonderful gym designed both for neurotypical and special needs kids has to offer! There was ample space for 16 children and 20 adults to sit as well as to set numerous trays of food. If you are looking for a good return on your money for your little one’s birthday party, look no further. Many of my guests today are already planning their next birthday party at we Rock the Spectrum Glendale. With many thanks, a grateful mom!

We drive out here rather than to go to any of the We Rock the Spectrum because of the amazing owners and staff. This place is brilliant, my daughter can literally spend the entire day playing here happily, which is not at all the case when we go to other play spaces, usually she tires out at two hours tops!
The first two times it was meltdown town when we had to leave before closing, now I just plan on spending the whole day there.
I plan on coming here at least once a week from now on as it also provides my daughter with great gross motor skills and socialization.
The owners are beyond great, they are extremely sweet and care about every single one of the children who come here, remembering names and favorite activities right away. If you are looking for a supportive community, this is the place!

We had our sons birthday party here in April. Everyone had fun. Great helpful staff. The kids didn’t want to leave the party. There is so much there to keep them busy. We’ve gone back a few times for open play and a friend of ours had their kid’s birthday party there also. Overall a wonderful experience.

I am always looking for something to do with my 4 year old granddaughter. I found a good deal Groupon or LS and decided to male the drive from Burbank to Glendale. Today was my 2^nd visit and my little one and she just loves it. You can bring your lunch and use the micro and fridge. They have a location in Santa Clarita where my granddaughter lives and her parents are going to have her next birthday party there. Thank you to the owners who have created a fun place where adults can participate with their children or grandchildren.

Pretty fun place and surrounded by yummy food spots. Perfect. The kids had a freakin’ blast here and so did I. They played for hours! It’s very clean and organized, thank you so much for that. Equipment is well maintained and healthy snack machines are available which also take cc’s. Perfect!

I love the layout of this place. the fact that you can see all around the place for the most part from the tables where the parents can sit. They have *such* a variety of supplies and activities, and the owner is just fantastic! … feel real comfortable with her.

Awesome place if you want your kids out of technology for a while! I definitely recommend it!!!

My 4 year old loves this place. Got a great deal on Groupon and we decided to go. The owners are very kind and super chill. This place is VERY clean and has tons of things for kids to do. Sort of reminded me of the CHILDRENS museum in LA back in the 80’s. Spent two hours having a blast painting, jumping and mostly running around. 5 stars easy!!! Hope rates don’t ever go up.

Just got home from WRTS gym and my 2 kids could not wait to go back! My oldest son has autism and I love that I don’t have to explain and apologize to everybody if he seems to be on their way or not mindful of others. Everybody seems to be accommodating and helpful! Mike the owner was so welcoming, I love how he interacts with all the kids! I’m already planning my sons party in WRTS. Top that it’s very clean! This is the kind of business I will patronize. Autistic kids need a place like this!

5 Stars ALL THE WAY!!!
The owners of this place are amazingly sweet and very easy to talk to. Super Clean and safe environment. They have everything you can ask for your little one. I brought my 14 month old son there with my husband and we ended up having a blast ourselves. I am for sure going back with my kid.

We took our 4 YO there for the first time thanks to a free trial coupon my wife picked up at Zankou Chicken (also in Glendale). And while this first visit didn’t actually cost us anything other than time, it was definitely worth the stop to discover it.
Not knowing what to expect, we followed the check in procedure as directed by the owners — standard liability form, directions to remove shoes, etc. In the meantime, our little one was allowed to enter the play area and proceeded to run back and forth to each play area, not knowing what to play with first… kind of losing her mind, as 4 YOs tend to do.
Bottom line, the place was very clean, obviously kid friendly in EVERY aspect (including Mike and Deb, the couple who run the place) and our little one had a blast. Mike and Deb are very patient with the kids and were on top of everything going on. The place was not that busy (at 2 PM on a Monday), but I can see that chances are they’re likely even more engaged when it is busy.
We’ll definitely be back and I’m thinking about maybe having our 8 YO’s birthday there next year and taking them both from time to time when we want to do something indoors that burns energy similar to a trip to the park. SUPPORT this business — they really deserve it!

I recently started coming here with a client I work with for an agency that does behavioral therapy with special needs and autistic kids. I love it here. It’s warm, welcoming and inviting, and the owners are wonderful people who care about the kids who come here, making sure they stick with whatever type of redirection and skills parents or therapists implement with children/​clients. It’s truly a safe place for this population to be themselves. I would recommend Kid’s Gym to anyone with a child on the spectrum and even parents without kids on the spectrum. It’s a wonderful atmosphere for any child.

This is an awesome place for little ones to come have fun, get fit, and explore so many areas that are important for their overall development! There are so many activities geared towards fine motor and gross motor movements; as well as cognitive games, art, and best of all an array of musical instruments to play music!
The staff is very nice, helpful, professional, knowledgeable, and in this business 4 all the right reasons. I definitely recommend bringing your children of all abilities to this gym, they will enjoy their time here!!! ROCK IT!

I love this place. It’s so clean, everyone is friendly. My son has sooooooo much energy. It’s great to be able to take him to a safe space with lots to do, while I enjoy a little respite. Can’t say enough good things about We Rock The Spectrum, Glendale location is the best!

Super awesome new place in Glendale. Great staff and my kids don’t wanna leave. I’m definitely coming back. Highly recommended.

We had our first visit today. For a while we were the only ones there and got to really enjoy all the fun structures and toys.
My kids felt right at home and didn’t want to leave. Everything looked very clean and organized for the most part. The person that helped is was very nice and attentive. She helped my son navigate the zip line and helped him go down the slide several times. They have a wonderful music room too! Drums, keyboards, triangles etc.
we will definitely be back soon.
