Western Allied Electric

Like the other reviewers, we found WAE through Home Depot. I called and I was able to get an appointment for the next day to have a ceiling fan installed. The next day I received a call from Danny, the installer, who was running early and asked if we would like to move up the appointment. We did and he arrived within 15 minutes. He did an excellent, very professional job. There was no mess at all and he was finished in the time he said it would take. The price was very fair and exactly what the representative had quoted. Very happy we chose Western Allied Electric!

I contracted with Western Allied Electric (WAE) through Home Depot to install a ceiling fan in a bedroom. Alice Mardigian answered the phone and set the appointment. She was friendly and professional (she also sounds too young to be an owner LOL) and gave me a reminder call as the appointment day approached.
The technician was friendly, informative, professional and knew his stuff. The first thing he did was to lay out plastic sheets to cover everything, being careful in the process. He pulled out the jerry-​rigged electrical mess that the previous owner left and installed the fan the way it should have been done the first time. With the previous owner’s install the cord from the fan to the outlet was not only visible, but an eyesore. The installer went to the attic, drilled a hole, and threaded the cord so that there was no cord to see from the room. He tested it and cleaned up what little mess there was, not leaving the slightest piece of debris. Then he volunteered some helpful information that I could use. The job was completed much sooner than expected.
The prices are flat fees, in my case higher than the standard install fee due to the electrical shoddiness that had to be corrected. Overall they are reasonable. WAE is company with whom I would gladly do business with in the future and gets my highest recommendation for those living the Greater Los Angeles area. I wish them continued success.

Found WAE thru the Home Depot MyInstall program on Home Depot’s website. I was contacted by WAE within the time frame promised by the Home Depot. Very polite, courteous, and knowledgeable young lady helped me set-​up my appt for the same day for an estimate of work I wanted to have done. Vahe arrived on time, was polite, knowledgeable and professional. We went over the work I wanted to have done (recessed lighting installed, pendant lights installed, bathroom light/​exhaust fan, and range hood installation) he explained what they could do, and had some suggestions to make the project more cost effective. We are «scheduled» to start work next week, I will continue this review when the project is completed at that time.
Well they came out today (05÷14÷14) to do the job. Arrived on time and went straight to work. Went over what was to be done, checked to make sure all the materials needed were here and started in on the installation. Because our home is a bit old (1947) a few changes had to be made as far as lining up the recessed lights in our living room due to our heating unit being in the attic. Christopher and his co-​worker worked well as a team, plus they had to deal with 100 degree heat while in the attic. Vahe stopped by to check on the job being done, which was reassuring, knowing that he cared about the job. After finishing everything they cleaned up, vacuumed and made sure everything was as it was before they started.
Overall a very positive experience, and a job well done, I would definitely recommend Western Allied Electric for anyone needing a job well done, complete and with confidence. «THANK-​YOU» WAE!!!

The installer did an absolutely great job. He fixed the wire mess in my garage, installed two exterior lights and fixed an outlet that would trip every time I used it.
It is refreshing to have a technician show up on time. He was scheduled to be onsite at 8:00am and at 7:59am he was knocking on my door.
If you need electrical work done in a professional manner, go with Western Allied Electric.
I imagine that they are not the cheapest in town but you get what you pay for. When he left my house today all the work was completed as promised and there was no mess left behind.
