These people are dirt bags. They illegally evict you, harass you if you don’t play their game. Look on there other page for reviews. My advice: DO YOUR HOME WORK BEFORE YOU RENT FROM THESE GUYS OR TRUST ME YOU WILL BE SORRY!
I’d give them no starts if I could. The owner Mike Belzer loves using the line «I’m doing everything by law». Many tenants just move & let them get away with the crap they do, therefore they continue to play their game.
The property manager of the Norwalk complex is the biggest joke. He smiles in your face but will do dirt behind your back. He’s the owner’s b****.
Especially if you have kids beware: The owner & resident manager have been seen answering the door with nothing on but a small towel & tell’s you the resident you should have called before you came by.
The owner doesn’t even live on the property.
The owner & resident manager have also been seen fight in the parking lot.
The resident manager goes around threatening residents saying «I’m an ex Marine» or I know everyone in the Norwalk Sheriff’s Dept.
He also says if everyone in the complex doesn’t get along you need to move. He doesn’t want feuding in his buildings.
Sorry buddy, realize the world’s not Disneyland. Not everyone gets along. He doesn’t want to deal with anything because he’s LAZY.

I’ve rented from Westside Management Group for three years. They have been very responsive to maintenance requests. I know from personal experience that the manager has bent over backwards to help out tenants with they run into problems making rent (even before the recession). I also know, as a tenant, that people can really trash a place so I minimize what they think is the damages they’ve caused, so I tack someone’s complaint about getting back their deposit fee with a grain of salt.

Every other month we would recieve a printed notice of random things to keep in mind (laundry, noise, etc). This notice was the poorest English I have ever seen. I am open to the fact that English may not be the first language for our region rep of updates, but if you were to copy/​paste this into Word, or anything on the computer, the entire page would be underlined in both red and green squiggly lines. It was a joke. No excuse why it should take me 5 minutes to try and understand what a paragraph is trying to say.
ALSO, I had several random issues in the middle of the night with leaky pipes and a dripping water heater. Our emergency call guy who is the only person we are supposed to call never picked up the phone. This happened again a few days later with the same issue after WSM told me they corrected the contact problem.
ALSO, they went into my apartment with telling me. No advanced notice, no warning, no communication. I came home one day and a door was a little off and I noticed the water heater had a new arm on it… meaning someone was in the apartment without notice.
LASTLY, upon moving out, they raped me and demanded money after keeping the deposit. It’s one thing to keep nearly $ 1,000 bogus dollars for things that aren’t truely damaged, but it’s another thing to ask for more money on top of it. And the thing is, they said a number of items needed to be replaced.
1 — this was the first time they were checking these things since the guy BEFORE me moved in, which is bogus. They never did a check in the YEARS I lived there.
2 — They wanted to charge me 100% for replacements when I didn’t move in to a brand new apartment, so even if I was guilty, I should replace used stuff with brand new ones at 100% the cost?
These guys are terrible at communication and will rob you in the end.

Vindictive, overbearing, unfair, deposit raping a-​holes!!! I’ve never had a worse landlord. He was emotional, self righteous and totally dicked me out of my security deposit. If you have to rent, do not rent from these scum bags.
