History

Established in 2008.

Y.P.P. broke out of my other business, Custom Medical Massage, where I had always done pregnancy/​postpartum/​infant massage and was certified in perinatal massage, but until I went throught the Doula training in 2008 at Nurturing Hearts Birth Services in Mesa, AZ, I hadn’t been able to do the labor massage. In order to graduate I attended 5 births for free and observed both hospital and home births. The Doula experiences hit home and I wanted to learn even more, and teach childbirth; so I attended and graduated their CBE course too. I became a member of Doula’s Of North America (DONA) and the International Childbirth Education Association (ICEA), and continue to research and stay informed on women’s/baby’s rights!

Tammy Roecker has been an Arizona State Licensed Massage Therapist and Nationally Certified in Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork for over 23 years, with additional certifications in Pre/​Peri-​Natal Massage, as well as being a Certified Personal Trainer through AFAA with extra training in Perinatal Fitness. Although she works with all ages and types of people, and has a wide range of continuing education! She is certified as a Doula and a Childbirth Educator through Nurturing Hearts Birth Services of Arizona. She strives to inform and empower women and their families, so that through nurturing touch and compassionate dialogue, these families will have an environment to maximize that infant’s potential and encourage family bonding that will last a lifetime.
