Been shopping at Zara for several years now and truly enjoy the customer service each time I visit the location in Old Town, Pasadena or at the Santa Anita mall.
I’ve had the chance to TRY and shop at the location inside of the Glendale Galleria two times and twice have I experienced the worst customer service known to man kind. Either they look right through you and don’t acknowledge your existence as a customer or when they do its unwilling.
Today I picked two suits to purchase and waited in line for what was about 8 minutes before eagerly making my way to the register, as soon as I got to the register instead of a, Hi how are you? Or a Did you find everything you need? I was told that they have no garment bags and she would have to fold the suit up and throw it in a bag; nonsense right? And instead of apologizing or providing any solution she asked if I want the suits or not — clearly I opted for the later of the two options given.
Mind you after my «transaction» while a customer stood waiting to buy a shirt and the same cashier was approached by a manager and asked if she needs any help since the line was growing to which she responded she didn’t care.
On my other visit to the store I sought help and was left dumbfounded as each employee pointed at the other and no one wanted to take the time and help.
I encourage anyone looking to shop at Zara to make the drive to Pasadena, Santa Anita or ANYWHERE but the Glendale location.

The employees at this store are hands-​down the sweetest people on Earth. Maybe it’s just the particular days I’ve been in to shop, but my cashier today and a month ago when I was paying for my items was super nice! Totally forgot her name.
In a city where everyone is an ass hole people have no clue what customer service is, coming in to this store is breath of fresh air.

Worst experience I’ve had with customer service at any retail store. The management avoids customers. I was charged for a transaction twice and instead of kindly giving me instructions on how to receive a refund I was given attitude almost blaming me for the inadequacy of their staff members. I refuse to go back to this location because every employee was miserable and felt entitled. As a Los Angeles native take my advice and shop at the Pasadena or Sherman oaks location much nicer. One last thing awful management, very disappointed at their lack of professionalism. Zara this is a poor reflection of your company.

This place is horrible the lines for the changing room take forever. The managers are rude, and role their eyes when you ask them for help and direct you to the employees. The store is also very dirty and when I purchased my items and took them home they had makeup stains all over it. When I brought it back they said I was way past the return date (3 days) past 30 day policy and wouldn’t accept my return. Terrible customer service.

I was in this location ⁵⁄₁₈ after finishing up with Genius Bar at Apple. I never go to the Glendale Galleria but had to get my macbook fixed. I walked into Zara because I wanted a new top and this location has a big mens dept. Well, thats the only thing good about it. I got no greeting not even from the lady manager as she walked by me in her black biker jacket. I was shocked! I walked into the mens section and the boy sales associate came from the fitting room to where I was looking at a shirt and didn’t bother to say anything. He just hung the shirt and walked away. I continued to look around and finally a lovely lady who was the only one not wearing all black greeted me and asked questions. After that I found a top but soon got approached from a customer who thought I worked there. As i said no a guy sales associate walked by as he ignored our call to him. I was and still am FLOORED! I’ve worked retail for 20 yrs and if any of this that happened today in this store would have been red flagged. They are lucky i wasn’t a secret shopper. I was so turned off at this location i didn’t buy the great top i wanted. I blame the manager of this location because you are what your employees are.

This place is the worst. Their wifi for their registers went down so they claimed they were unable to do returns. So when I went back another time they refused to do the return saying that it was out of the return date. A good customer service rep. would have back dated the return date to when the wifi was down. Supervisors here are useless.

I LOVE Zara– just not this location. the clothes are really cute but the employees here are just rude! (with an exception of a few). the customer service is pretty bad and they’ll talk down to you. the only reason I’ll be coming back is because the clothes are irresistible and this certain location is convenient for me.

Unfortunately the company has the worse customer service and return policy I’ve experienced. Ronnie & Teresa please find another company to work for, like Nordstrom. You are too good of people to work for Zara. Nordstrom actually cares about there customers.
Long story short I bought several items and didn’t intend to return any of them as I tried them on and liked them. I cut the tags off, and threw them In the washing machine. When I took them out 1 of the shirts ripped in the collar. Upon trying to return the shirt I was denied twice by managers in the store. I called corporate explaining the shirt was 1 week old and I’m a regular Zara shopper. Denied again, needless to say bye Zara I won’t be shopping with you any longer.
Go to Call it Spring, Nordstrom and stores that actually care about their customers. With such a terrible return policy and customer service, Zara you won’t last long.

Why is the line 27 deep and you only have ONE register open!!! People are actually putting stuff down and leaving. What an incredible joke! The girl behind the counter said one person went to lunch. REALLY?! Who handles the scheduling? This is ridiculous!!! Truly disappointed Zara!

Beware! — long time customer complaint.
I’ve been buying clothes at Zara for the past 10 years. I thought that they were a reasonable and well priced product, until my recent experience when I purchased three pairs of shoes a Zara location in Los Angeles. One pair of shoes, black hightops with a Velcro strap, didn’t last two months. The soles on both shoes started to peel off. When I called customer service they told me I would have to go to the store location to have them replaced. The store manager told me that I cannot replace the pair of shoes but they can give me the current value of $ 19 for a pair of shoes that I paid $ 80 for two months earlier. If you are looking for fashionable shoes DO NOT buy Zara. The shoes do not last and they clearly do not stand behind their product.

Avoid this store at all costs, the workers don’t even know what they’re there for. I tried returning something and putting it on a gift card and they couldn’t even do that, really need assistance in retail. Avoid this location at all costs.

I do like this location since it’s bigger and has a good selection of menswear. The staff were cordial but I don’t expect much customer service from them. I find that this is the case in all of the Zara stores I’ve been to. They make the shop look expensive but you’re really just getting cheap clothes at cheap prices comparatively speaking.

Super bummed. I bought a $ 70 jacket from Zara kids for my daughter and it fell apart. The company isn’t willing to replace or return which is so weird to me. So if you are buying from Zara’s skip the expensive stuff as the quality is really bad!

What a terrible brand! I tried to return an item but was denied because I had no receipt. Welcome to the 21^st Century, Zara, not everyone keeps their paper receipt. I could prove I purchased the item via online banking etc. but to no avail.
Asked to speak to a manager who kept repeating themselves. I’ve been buying clothes from them for almost 10 years but never again after receiving such poor customer service.
The store is filled with rude employees who don’t greet you. It’s always dirty and disheveled. Clothes are overpriced and poor quality. They shrink at the drop of a hat. Never buying anything from them ever again.

5 stars because of the location, and the clothes selection. I also received the BEST customer service by an employee named Vicky. She was very attentive and knowledgable. She helped me pick out an outfit for my boyfriend, and made it an easy, fun and ultimate experience! I will definitely come back to this location!

It’s hard to find good customer service these days and Zara doesn’t disappoint. You won’t find it here either.

Worst customer service ever! The manager is the most stupid one ever (Tresa), the worst attitude ever, the worst customer service ever. My expectations from zara is always above any other store cause they never failed as far as the service but this location is providing zero level of customer service. And when this is how the manager handles the customers then what u should expect from employees.

The workers are always so rude and not helpful. They seem very reluctant to check the back for sizes or show you where certain items are. I love Zara, but I hate this store’s customer service.

There are 5 chicks standing around the register but only one is ringing. Sometimes I have the leisure to stroll around the mall without a care in the world but at other times I have places to go and people to see and standing in a line for 15 minutes while the employees are lollygagging is not my idea of fun. I love Zara clothing but they hire the most incompetent people without any knowledge of customer service in most of their stores.

Finally, Zara is in Glendale! The store is big. I had actually just come from the Pasadena store and the ladies’ section is about the same size but the men’s and kid’s sections are much bigger.
I found a couple of dresses at this location that I didn’t see in Pasadena. Unfortunately, they were already sold out in my size. You guys just opened… how is that possible?! It took awhile to flag down one of the associates as it was a bit of a zoo inside. But overall, I’m happy they’re here. The Galleria sure has improved over the years.
