Only landlords are saying good things about Marti and A+, but all the tenants are speaking the truth. Any time I had an issue, she never took care of it, but rather found some way to blame me for it. She never once fixed/repaired my apartment, claiming I was going to get the house instead. After lying and decieving me for 5 months, Marti took the house I was promised and instead rented it out to the sub-tenants I had lined up. In fact, she told me I had to make them sub-tenants, then changed her mind the day she took my home from me and gave it to them. Since then she has made threats, harrassed, continues to lie in order to cover up other lies, and has the audacity to claim she has over 20 years in the business and is a responsible property management company. While it may be true that she is a great property manager to the landlords, she obviously is a joke to the tenants. She really otta be ashamed for the way she conducts business and the way she treats people.

I would be into a class action lawsuit if we can get more people to come forward. Property management companies should not be able to steal money from tenants who are moving out.

As a tenet our experience with A+ was very mixed. The move in process was smooth and the house was clean and in good shape for the most part. They were quick to send out a handy man for major repairs and the rates did not increase during our 2 years residing in the home. When it came time move out we spent a great deal of time cleaning the home and doing minor repairs that were needed. A+ waited the full 21 days allowed to return our deposit and we were shocked when we received only a quarter of the full amount. The list of charges were outrageous. We were charged over $ 30 to replace 1 light bulb — labor and parts. We were docked for scratches in the sink even though our move in check list stated those were already there. The list goes on and on. We sent a letter disputing many of the charges and asking for a reasonable amount of the deposit to be refunded, and were told we could take them to court. If you decided to rent from A+ I recommend documenting every repair request you send them no matter how minor, and take photographs showing the condition of every part of the house when you move in and out. Without this type of documentation you won’t have a leg to stand on when you receive the list of outrages charges when you move out.

Anyhow, Marti @A+ is resourceful, diligent, and trustworthy. She gave me good advice on how to get my property rented out, found a good tenant for me, and was very thorough during the entire process. Good communication. Saved me a lot of time and headache compare to trying to rent the property out myself. I will definitely use her service again!

I love this property management company — Marti is amazing, on-time friendly, and helpful. She tells me when to fight things with my HOA and I have only had great tenants through her. The number one thing I learned the hard way is: BEFORE buying a rental property, find a good property manager and bounce the location and potential rent $ off a good PM — they will tell you whether it will work out well for a yuppie renter or to look in a different area. She is one of the few I have dealt with who will tell me the truth.
