I called Accurate Electrical Services after botching my shop light install in the garage. I reached out on Saturday and got an appointment Monday evening, which means I didn’t have to take time off work.
Mike arrived on schedule, quickly assessed the electrical situation and corrected my errors. I chatted with him as he was working and observed a skilled professional. He was detailed and double checked each step to ensure that the outlet and all switches were functioning.
Finally, the cost was very fair. More than happy to pay for such professional and courteous service. If I have further electrical needs, I would not hesitate to contact this business again, highly recommended.

Thanks for the tip Unilocal.I had a small job. An old outdoor light needed to be replaced. They arrived the next day and completed the job for under $ 100. Less than any other bid. Bigger job coming up. I’ll be calling them again.

Accurate Electrical just completed a rewire of our home, upgrade of our electrical panel, installation of a whole house fan, and wiring of an attic exhaust fan to a hallway switch. Wow! My husband and I selected Accurate after reviewing three bids from solid, professional companies. Accurate’s bid was in line with the other companies in terms of project cost, but stood out from the beginning with a more professionally worded and organized written estimate.
We selected Accurate based upon their reviews, BBB standing, the professionalism of their representative, Mike P, who provided the initial estimate and was very responsive throughout the project to our questions and updates, and the fact that they had a dedicated, experienced rewire team.
Our high expectations were met and surpassed by the services and personnel from Accurate!
We highly recommend this company to anyone in need of electrical services, based upon their professionalism.
Some highlights:
–Mike P acted as supervisor of the project, and the company assigned a foreman, Josimar, who organized all aspects of the project and was on site throughout the rewire.
The company provided us, in advance, with the start and likely end dates for the project, the hours of work to expect, the names of the electricians on the team, and phone and email contact information should any questions arise after work hours
–the rewire team was stellar, taking our needs into consideration in organizing the daily schedule of work. At the end of each work day, the foreman walked us through what the team accomplished that day, what they planned to complete the following day, and pointed out features of the project that helped educate us about the process and products installed.
–each day, the team arrived on time or a few minutes early, worked a full day with a very short lunch break. The electricians worked well as a team, each as professional as the next, and exhibited high levels of craftsmanship.
–other companies we solicited estimates from had stated we should expect them to open up large sections of our 1947 plaster walls to complete the rewire, and stated that they would not or could not remove the old knob-​and-​tube system. Accurate’s team made minimal openings in the walls, and skillfully cut kitchen tiles to add outlets.
–we had been told by other electricians that it was not possible to wire in an over-​the-​sink ceiling light in the kitchen. Accurate electricians found a way to do so!
–we had an ancient wall air conditioner that had been improperly hard wired. Accurate’s team provided us with several options to remedy the situation, and then stayed beyond the end of a work day to add a dedicated outlet that would properly wire in a new, energy efficient AC unit.
–the plaster and stucco repair (we needed less than expected!) was completed by Accurate’s primo expert, Tito. He has a lifetime of experience with projects large and small, and that craftsmanship showed.
–the roofers mounted the attic exhaust fan this week, and Mickey and Steve from the rewire team returned to wire the fan to a hallway switch in a morning visit, immediately after our call to the office.
–the owner of the company and office staff are also appreciated, for responding to our questions and paperwork needs.
This is a lengthy recommendation, but we had such a positive experience with an extremely responsive and professional company, we just had to share!

I had a problem with a circuit breaker in the house. Mike should up at the promised time window, looked at my electric panel reset the fuse, gave me some good advice, and even did not charge me for his trip.
Like them and will use them to rewire the whole house.

In the process of selling our home, we had to do some repairs to the electrical that were requested by the buyers. My husband shopped around and a few places were so unprofessional in their responses. Accurate Electrical was very professional, gave us a fair quote and even gave us a reference code for some work the Home Inspector marked as needed and told us that those outlets were already up to code and didn’t need to spend money on something that didn’t need correcting. Yey!!! We scheduled to get the work done and Tony & Mike E. showed up on time and did a great job with the repairs. They were very courteous and professional and answered all my questions before getting started on the job. Over all we will definitely will keep them on speed dial for future reference when we move into our new home and will definitely be recommending them to our family and friends.

Awesome company!!! They keep trying to trouble shoot it all day to save me money. I had my father in law do the trouble shooting because I was at work. When I got home I went to where I thought the problem was and pushed the reset button right in front of the technician. I apologized and he said no problem. I felt horrible. He told me not to worry about the $ 59 fee and then told me about their up front pricing and told me that in the future I might need to upgrade the outlets. I will definitely be using Accurate Electrical systems in the future!!! Thanks again! Everyone I dealt with was very nice. Mike the technician was awesome. Totally recommend them to anyone, totally honest and a great company!!!

Just had Mike from Accurate come over this morning. We had a problem where the local breaker and the main breaker kept tripping. The problem turned out to be a high amperage microwave/​hood installed during a kitchen remodel that was connected to a lower amperage circuit from the adjacent den. He identified several solutions from the simple to the hardest (i.e., expensive) and I picked a solution that worked for my family.
Mike is very knowledgeable, courteous and professional. He was on time and took the time to explain the issue and the solutions thoroughly. I highly recommend Accurate Electrical Services and especially Mike.

Called in with a question, thinking I’ll need an electrician to come by. Turns out it was a simple switch, and the person on the phone walked me through it. Thanks — I’ll remember you guys when I have a more serious issue!

I’ve never written a Unilocal review before, but this company have compelled me to write one. Finding a trustworthy electrician company is very hard to find nowadays. Accurate Electrical Services (AES) company is honest and super professional. I can’t speak highly enough about Accurate Electrical Services from Cheri, office manager, and Mike, the electrician. I called AES because I was having some issues with my outside plugs and kitchen plugs. Right away when I tried to make an appointment, Cheri walked me through some common fixes over the phone. Who does that nowadays? After trying all the suggestions that Cheri recommended, I was still having issues. I made the call for appointment on Friday for next Friday because that was the only day I was available. Cheri said that she will contact me if anything opens up on that weekend. Saturday Cheri called that there was an opening and Mike showed up. Mike was a life saver. I didn’t have any power from my kitchen close to a week and my outdoor plugs for a month. Not only he fixed my issues with my plugs, but he also explained to me why certain things happen. He was super knowledgeable. Next time, if ever I need an electrician, I won’t hesitate to call them again. I can’t thank you guys enough. You guys are the best!!!

I selected Accurate based on the excellent reviews here. I had a fairly large project, replacing my panels and upgrading service from Edison. I scheduled an appointment for an estimate. Mike arrived on time and we walked through the job. He explained my options and what the pricing would be. I decided to go ahead with the job. Accurate took care of everything, including contacting the city, Edison, and the Gas company (to mark where underground pipes are). Everything went exactly as promised, and the quality of the work was excellent. They even recommended someone to patch the stucco, where there was some impact from the new panels (and the stucco work was truly excellent). Accurate will be my first (and only) call for electrical work from now on. It is a real pleasure doing business these people.

Mike was very professional and courteous. He explained every step and was very thorough. He was very knowledgable and explained what he was doing, what he found, what the fix was, etc.
Would highly recommend this company and they will be my first call next time.

60 bucks for an estimate? I’m sure they’re competent electricians based on the reviews but from a 15k+ bath remodel to a $ 60 screen door repair, I’ve never had a contractor ask me for money just to tell much how much more money I’ll need to give them after they actually do something.
When I hire someone to do work on my house, the selection process doesn’t end with the person taking my information — meeting and gauging the tech’s abilities in person is vital to hiring the right person for the job, and being charged for an estimate puts more pressure on me to hire that person whether I want them to do the work or not as I’m already in it 60 bucks.
Estimates are a cost of doing business, and there are plenty of equally good or better electricians who don’t try and shift the business cost to the customer. Imagine if stores charged a viewing price or Amazon had a browsing fee. Ridiculous.

Sara at the office, and Mike who came out to the house, were both great to work with. Mike was super knowledgeable, and took me through each step of his diagnosis and repair. Sara heard our misery with two folks in the house feeling under the weather, and no working AC, and got us a same-​day appointment. I cannot recommend Accurate more highly! I am now a happy Service Partner, and will work with them for years to come!

I heard about Accurate Electrical Services from some good friend’s of mine who just had their old 1920’s electrical replaced. They had a really great experience with Accurate, so I decided to use them, as well, on my 1920’s home.
First off, when Accurate started the work on my place I happened to be out of the country. Mike P. got in touch with me to tell me what was going on and what to expect when I got home. And when I got home, not only did he take the time to explain everything to me, but he was so helpful in determining what new lighting fixtures to get. He truly walked me through everything.
Mike and crew are AMAZING! I cannot thank them enough for all of the work they have put into my home.

Very professional. Joe and Cheri are great. Joe finished up my project very quick putting up a ceiling fan and faulty light switch. Will call them up for my re-​wiring soon.

I’ve used Accurate Electrical Services for a half-​dozen projects at my house, and the service is unfailingly good. It’s easy to set an appointment, the electricians are prompt, and the work is flawless. Both Mike and Joe are talented at their trade, and I trust their expertise.

I can’t say enough good things about Accurate Electrical Services. We’ve had Mike at our home a couple times now. He’s knowledgable, friendly, professional and — maybe most important — he likes both our dogs. Mike never makes us feel like he’s in a hurry. He spends all the time we need to explain the problem, and offers several options on how to remedy it. We have an older home, with older wiring, so a reliable and trustworthy electrician is an essential part of our support system. Fortunately, that’s exactly what Mike and AES are. I can’t imagine using anyone else. Would recommend them to anyone for any size job in a heartbeat.

A very professional company. From first phone call to final check on completed work, the team at Accurate is top notch. I needed an outlet installed in my wall for a flat screen TV. They were very clear that the work would be looked at and then a bid on the project would be determined by the electrician. Joe came in and determined the best course of action, explained the good and the bad, detailed what would have to be done, scooted out to his truck and came back less than 5 minutes later with a price for the job. Good price, great work!
There are three things I will not do around the house, plumbing, electric work and roofing. There is a reason these people are trained in what they do. So very pleased with the work.

Recently we had a welder installing some iron work in our 1940’s office building. He connected his welding machine in one of our outlets; but he kept tripping the breaker with the power he was drawing. It was very frustrating and inconvenient so we decided to call Accurate Electrical Services to see if they could help.
From the first phone call we knew this place was top notch! First of all: THEY ANSWER THEIR PHONE! In addition, the girl on the phone was very friendly and eager to help. Mike the electrician showed up that same afternoon to diagnose the problem.
Mike’s clear & concise communication with us sealed the deal. He explained thoroughly our different options and we scheduled him to come out a few days later to do the job.
Yesterday he came to replace our old out of date & dangerous electrical panel with a brand new electrical panel. The job ended up being much more time consuming & involved than anticipated; however we are certain and have peace of mind knowing the job got done right by Mike. In addition to doing a great job, Mike has superb people skills and it’s very clear that customer satisfaction is his top priority.
We already have another electrical job we’d like done at our office & we’re grateful knowing that we can count on Mike to get it done right. He came out same day I called and possibly saved our home! I was smelling burning plastic and turns out we had a Fire in the Wall due to improperly installed outlets!!!
