The service is phenomenal, the mechanics are highly qualify, and the owner is present in the office or working on cars himself. This business is a reputable business in the community and gives back with local community groups and Glendora High School athletic teams.
Over the past 15 years, this is the only mechanic my family uses.
As a young woman, I feel comfortable and completely safe waiting for my car or having them take me home.

WORLD CLASS! My car broke down on the freeway. First shop it went to quoted $ 5000.00 for a new starter and whole new transmission. Took it to Brian Woods (AAA approved) and manager Jim made it the BEST experience I have ever had in automotive repair shops, and I’ve got a lot of years on me! No charge for diagnosis and he found all it needed was a new flywheel! Two days and $ 1200 later and my classic Caddy Eldorado is flying down the freeway again purring like a kitten. He even replaced a motor mount and a transmission mount, didn’t charge me anything for the labor on that. These guys are professional, courteous, knowledgeable and most of all HONEST as the day is long. I cannot say enough good stuff about Brian Wood Automotive and I highly recommend this shop to anyone who needs great service at a reasonable price.

Very nice people, my car had an electrical problem, they checked it out and said Alternator was bad, but they knew it was replaced and suggested I take it back where I go it, I did, but was still having problems, they said it then was the battery, then $ 140 dollars later, I still had the problem, it was still the alternator, which I took it to All Time and got it fixed, no problems since

I took my 2003 Buick there after my former mechanic literally asked me to start taking it to somebody else! I had another mechanic look at it and was quoted $ 1700.00 to fix what seemed like a major problem. I took it to Brian Wood and they fixed it for less than a third of the other quotes. Most importantly, I can trust their service. They have kept my can running for the last 18 months which totally made my Summer.

Had a long-​running issue with my Suburban, which had baffled many an expert from the dealership, various parts counters and other aficionados. On top of that, it had thrown a code indicating a transmission problem. Brought it in, got a prompt diagnosis for less than I expected for a fuel pump replacement. Incredibly enough, this was also what was causing the transmission to misbehave. Rather than attack everything at once, they got straight to the cause of the first issue, tested and found that this also took care of the second issue, and on top of that, were able to shave hundreds off the originally agreed quote once they had taken things apart. These guys are quick, honest and know their stuff. I’ll definitely be back.

I have never needed a mechanic because I lease cars. A few month ago I purchased A used vehicle for my son. Low and behold his check engine light came on. UNBELIEVABLE experience. I went in on a saturday afternoon to have my battery checked out. As soon as I pulled in, Jim (red hair dude with a red beard) met me and asked me what was wrong. I explained it and he had somebody check it out. They diagnosed the issue (bad cell in battery), and began work. Within 10 minutes I was out of there with my issue fixed. Jim is awesome, and the reception staff was nice too. Bathrooms are clean and the lounge area is nice and cool. Will go back and WILL ABSOLUTELY recommend others to get their vehicles serviced here.

I took my car in to Brian Wood Automotive for the first time this week. I was really impressed with their service. The receptionist was great and she made me and my young son feel welcomed. The quote I received was a lower price than I expected for the repair. They completed the work within the promised time frame and to my surprise when I went to pay the bill it was HALF of the estimate! They said when they pulled it apart they found the repair wasn’t as complicated as expected and they cut the bill in half. It really doesn’t get any better than that. My family has found a new mechanic!

Fast repairs no doubt, just check prices of replacement parts first I found up to a $ 500 discrepancy with replacement parts when i checked on-​line wholesalers. Not for the person on a budget.

I had a great experience today at Brian Wood automotive. Being new to the area and a woman it is always chilling to have to take your car in. Not only did i not get haggled and conned into purchasing a bunch of other things, I was actually talked out of a $ 100 dollar service I was asking for and they advised me it was not necessary. How honest and comforting. To top it off, I was offered a ride back home if needed. Price for my service was cheaper then a low quality drive thru service and the conversation with the nice receptionist was pleasant. I was so happy with the service afterwards I called family to brag. It is so exciting to find a place you can trust. Plus I have a Prius, seems silly but not everyone is understanding of the hybrid technology and the car is running better then when I got it! I will definitely be back again and again.

My car broke down on a Saturday at 1:30 pm while on my way through Azusa. I needed to be at work in the SF bay area the next morning. Yikes! AAA recommended Brian Wood, as they are open on Saturdays. I called and they promised to do the best they could. When I got there, they heard my story, they jumped right on my car to make sure I could get on the road and make it to Nor Cal that night. Everyone I dealt with was professional, polite, and totally competent. They found the problem, found the parts, sent someone right out to get them, and took care of business. Took my car to Brian Wood Automotive after visiting several other local shops. All the other shops were unable to find the problem. Brian was able to find the problem in 15 minutes and didn’t charge me for the diagnosis. Car is now running like a dream and I have found my new favorite garage!!!

I have been bringing my car here for years and it’s been a blessing. Not only do the mechanics know what they are doing, but they have done an amazing job in keeping my sweet Roxy (my car) alive and kicking. The reason I say this is that my car is a 2000 Chevy Malibu and it’s got 150K on her and she runs absolutely wonderful. Unlike other autoshops who charge and arm and a leg for replacement parts, Brian Wood is very reasonable. I will advise that if you need an oil change, especially on a Saturday, get it done on a Friday because it really is an all day adventure. I am very happy to recommend their services.

For over a year, my car has been in an out of different automotive repair shops. For over a year, I’ve been dealing with a gas pedal that sticks and an air conditioner that blasts hot air and only hot air (add leather seats to that and you’ve got a very unhappy driver).
I’ve taken it to different shops with the high hopes of my car actually being repaired, each time the car ‘works’ for about a week and then it’s back to square one. I’d finally had enough when I got the good sense to go to Brian Wood Automotive (why it took me so long is beyond me).
It’s been about a week since I got my car back and I catch myself shivering because the air actually works, a sensation I am definitely not used to. My gas pedal no longer sticks when I press on the gas and, like I said, my air works. I couldn’t be happier! the service at Brian Wood is top notch! IF you want your car fixed and you want it fixed right, take your car to Brian Wood!
