Cypress Heating & Air Conditioning

Ivan Velasco came through for us, while other companies were trying to price gouge us. He was honest, fast and the best price we found. He even went the extra mile of coming back the next business day to flush the AC pipes. I never write reviews, but this time I had too. Ask for Ivan. Truly the best AC technician in his field. My girls are now happy because the AC works.

On Tuesday they came on time and went right to work these are the best works I seem in a long time they get right to work.
Today is Friday morning went right to work so far so good.
I just wish they would explain what they plan on doing the next day,
They are still not done an inspector needs go over there work and they need to put in installation.
Overall they did a good job.
The air flow in my room could be better.

I highly recommend Cypress for your heating and air needs. My elderly parents have been customers for many years and they have always received great service from Cypress! I have been caring for my parents for the past several years and any time we need routine or emergency service the staff at Cypress have gone above and beyond to provide us prompt attention. Their technicians are polite, knowledgeable, and professional. I recently needed service for my parents malfunctioning furnace/​AC. I called Joanne at Cypress and she was able to ‘squeeze’ us in to their already booked schedule and send a technician out to the house the next day. The technician (Joey) spent nearly two hours diagnosing the problem and determined that we needed a special part that he didn’t have with him. He rearranged his busy schedule to return the following day so that he could finish the repairs. And they didn’t take advantage and charge us extra like many places would. You just don’t find that level of service at many places anymore.

I’ve been using Cypress for all of my Heating and A/​C needs for over 8 years now. I’ve also used them to install some tankless water heaters in my house. They installed two HVAC units in my house and I recently had them come out and install another HVAC unit in a guest house on my property. Their quality of workmanship and high level of customer service is unsurpassed in my opinion. They have excellent attention to detail and always have my best interest in mind when doing their job. I own several rental properties and I will not use anyone else to service them except for Cypress. All of the staff at Cypress from Bob to Gary, including America, Tony and Lee are always very professional and take time to thoroughly answer any questions I may have. I am always completely satisfied with the job they do. I am and will always be a loyal customer to Cypress.

I just had my old HVAC removed and a new one recently Installed I will say that the detail of there work work great. Oscar and George explain everything with details and answered all my questions and concerns. I had an old system that was dangerous and had fire hazard concerns. I will highly recommended them to my friends and family and will use them for all my HVAC needs.

Just finished a full HVAC and tank less water heater installation today. My experience with Ronny, Freddy… heck the whole crew was great. What I saw was an attention to detail that I was very happy with, (They even touched up the paint on the screws to the vents after installed in case the screw driver had scratched the paint on them) Tell Rodney what your looking to do and he’ll put a system together to fit your needs. The equipment we installed should make for a comfy summer with out having to take out a loan. I am also having them do the insulation, but must wait for the inspection, if all goes as expected I can’t see going to anyone else for a new system or repair of your old. Oh Happy New Year!

Heater suddenly stopped working in this super cold weather. It was Christmas Eve and our regular HVAC company where we get twice annual service came out and told us it’d be $ 1,200 to fix it and no guarantee on when they would do it. My Sister had used Cypress and we called them. The owner, on his own, took pity on us and came out to personally investigate the problem. Christmas Eve he sent his son to buy the part and come to our home to complete the fix (all before our 3pm departure time to attend our holiday event). The best part is the bill was half of what our previously regular HVAC company was going to charge. Looks like we have ourselves a new twice-​annual HVAC service company and a great company to call with unexpected service needs too!

What an ordeal dealing with this company. A joke of a company. Had my whole HVAC system replaced and relocated from my garage to my attic. These guys were the supplied contractor for our area by Costco. Instead of boring you with the laundry list of details I have compiled, I will try to give you key bullet points:
*Installation started in March did not pass all city inspection until August.
*They laughed at how original condenser unit was poorly installed, but did their installation the exact same way. Had to bring it to their attention to fix.
*Failed two city inspections which uncovered all sorts of defects in their work. I am glad the inspector caught all these violations.
*Installed a «Mickey Mouse» attic access door from my garage that they made with wood and drywall versus a correctly rated fire door. Took them months to get the right door and when I followed up their reply was that they were too busy with other customers.
*Installed improperly sized wire/​conductor and argued with me that it was what was there. I explained that I am paying you to replace the entire system and you need to install it to code and not use what was previously there.
*Failed gas line relocation by city inspector. Informed them that I want this fixed immediately because I now feel unsafe with my family in the house with an improperly installed gas line. Their office manager, Kelly, stated you are safe and they can’t do anything to please me. I replied passing city inspections would please me.
*Original contract stated specific equipment, what was installed did not match. Lower model equipment was used. I had to show them the contract proving that I should be getting the higher model equipment.
*System is horribly unbalanced, some rooms are colder/​hotter than the rest of the house.
*Recent rain uncovered leak in roof exactly where they cut a hole for a ventilation pipe. Told them I don’t want an HVAC company fixing my roof. Went in circles with them, Costco, & their insurance company to find that it is not an insurance issue. Allowed them to send their «technician» out to inspect damage, immediately getting there before thoroughly inspecting they started stating that my roof is old and that is why it’s leaking. Eventually they realized it only leaked where they put the vent, the rest of my roof did not leak at all. Eventually 4 months later the issue is resolved. No apologies ever made by either the owner Bob or the «office manager» Kelly for my inconvenience. Everything was handled through other office personnel because they did not have the courage to return my calls or email me back.
*Lots of promises made by both the salesperson and the owner Bob, but many were left unfulfilled.
So buyers beware, if your searching for a reputable business that does honest work with any level of customer service keep searching. This business does not have any of those qualities. I rarely write reviews, but this needed to be said and everyone warned about this company.
Move on, don’t make the same mistake I made.
They are lucky the lowest rating I can give is 1 star, they deserve 0 stars.

Cypress Air just finished installing a mini split in my home. I am very pleased with the job. The employees were very professional. The owner Bob made sure that everything met our expectations, he came out to oversee the work at least once a day. I would highly recommend them.

I Can’t believe they’re no show after 4 hours waiting. Never again!!! The worst experience!!! I don’t think they deserve one star!!!

The tech came out the same day we called, as promised. He was very informative and gave me many good options for the heating repair work that we needed.

Called in the morning for a/​c repair and was given an appointment between 1 – 5. Waited around all afternoon. Called them just after 5:00, only to find out that they never dispatched the call, so no one was coming. By then, it was too late to call other places, and it also would be the weekend. Was not offered any type of discount for my trouble. Will never use this company.

We had our heating and air conditioning system replaced recently by Cypress. We had gotten several estimates before we called them. We were sold not so much on the price (we had gotten a lower estimate for what we had installed) but on there customer service. Outstanding! Beginning with the nice but informative lady answering the phone to Gary Aldrete handling our case to the guys (Armando & Carlos) who installed our system. Everybody was upfront, informative, made sure we understood the whole process. Never got the feeling that I was bothering them with my 52 questions :-)
When the job was finished I called back to just ask for some cosmetic like adjustments and they were on top of it and handled it not long after. And I liked how when Gary first entered our house he placed «booties» on his shoes. Not that we needed for him to do so but it showed respect and care. Out of the several guys who walked in to give their estimates Gary stood out. I compare his service to going out to a nice restaurant with great food and a great waiter serving it up!

I was fortunate to call and obtain service at probably the company’s busiest times. Ted, the technician, was at my door at the time I was promised. Not only did he fix the problem but he passed along a wealth of information. Thanks again. Definitely will use Cypress again and absolutely recommended.

You can not go wrong when you work with Gary A. at Cypress. He has become an HVAC expert when putting together a system for a home. He will be informative and know what rebates are out there. Its refreshing when you can have a discussion with a salesperson who you know is being honest and has your best interest in mind when it becomes time to upgrading your heating/​air system. These guys have install crews that back up what Gary told me was going to happen. That’s incredibly hard work to be in attics changing out equipment/​duct work/​etc. They are true pros and make you feel confident that you chose the right company and people to work with. Do yourself a favor before the heat of summer approaches and ask for Gary to come out and quote your project, you will be impressed! The gals in the office are very nice and on top of things as well.

Just called them and within an half an hour Rodney came out fixed the problem. He fixed the problem quickly and went above and beyond what I called him for. Plus he gave us a free filter. Things are heating up so keep them in mind and call them if you have any air or heating problems

After my review, got a call from the owner and he apologized for the lateness. Not normal. Nice customer service

I purchased new air conditioning, heating, and tankless water heater from them. They were recommended by Costco.
Joshua and Tony worked so hard every day in the heat. Always cleaned up after themselves.
Cypress Air took care of all the rebates for me. I only had to sign papers. Just received my final rebate in the mail and I can’t believe how easy they made it for me. Definitely reccommend!

My central air went out, Robert showed up same day, was very happy with the service and price. He was friendly and very honest. Would recommend Cypress to anyone!
