Finkbiner Park

Great park, clean and very child friendly with apparatus etc. love the plastic wood chips. Our son never cried once from falling into them!!! Definitely the way to go for parks of the future GLA!!!

This park is more or less a 3 star park. I can’t say I was super impressed with it. Although it is certainly away from busy streets and is a lot more expansive than parks in other areas of Los Angeles, the layout of the park has much to be desired. The bathrooms are a bit of a hike from the play structures but really close to the picnic area which feels super large and cramped. Rarely do I want to be squeezed into a tabled picnic area that is close enough to the bathrooms that I can possibly hear the flushing.
The play structures are quite nice. There’s ample space between each of them for kids to run around and there are is a decent amount of seating around the structures with good views so you can keep an eye on your kids. They currently have what looks like crushed up tires as the flooring for the play structure. Although I’m a fan of recycling, I can’t imagine this being a lot of fun for the kids in the heat of the summer, nor can I imagine it being super clean on clothing or skin. It’d be interesting to know if the rubber is cleaned/​treated at all before it becomes the surface my kids are playing on top of. I guess I grew up on tire swings and made it this far in life, but it’s a lot more than one tire on the ground!
The Sunday afternoon I happened to visit the park was pretty busy so there was all sorts of garbage from birthday parties people didn’t clean up properly afterwards from. Drink fountains don’t really work and again are far from the play structure.
Not a bad park to take the kids, but not pristine by any means. A-​OK to say the least!

I love this park! Very clean, open spaces but still has a great amount of trees! No creepers here! Just lots of pretty well behaved kids who have sweet parents and grandparents. Everyone is pretty friendly! There is a Ranger Station in the front. Clean playground, nice skate park. Plenty of shade. Clean bathrooms! I love the neighborhood and now want to move to this side of Glendora! My two year old loves it!

This is a cute park in Glendora. We usually come here in July/​August for movies in the park. Children’s moves. You can bring chairs food blankets, pets. Parking is free. They sell popcorn and hot chocolate.

This is a very nice park. I live right across the street and love it here. It’s always clean, well maintained and never overcrowded. There’s usually always a few kids playing on the playground equipment so your kids will have instant friends. This park also has it all! A big Skate Park, tennis courts, baseball fields, kids play equipment for different ages, BBQ and event centers, bridges and ponds, even buildings to do dance and aerobics classes… everything! My kids love it here

This is a great park to have a BBQ, a birthday party of event. They playground is nice, and caters to wee little ones and bigger kids. I brought my 20 month old during the weekday, early afternoon, and she has lots of fun! The pictures on here don’t do it justice!

Pretty standard. It has a skate park which is I guess is kind of cool. They only have like one basketball court though. They have playground equipment and a nice shady part where couples an homeless people like to hang out. The ice cream man might even stop by!

I want to amend the review I did… I was mistake about the mountain views. Evidently I was in the wrong part of the park when I did my initial review. From other parts of the park there are wonderful mountain views! Just depends on where you sit. Very nice park. Great job Glendora!

Its a nice park in a nice neighborhood. They have a skatepark, basketball courts, tennis courts, a volley ball court & a nice playground for the kids. Went to a company picnic there yesterday!
