Dr. Chao Chen, my father, is the founder of I Ching Acupuncture. We first established his clinic in 1980 at city of Rosemead. Then we moved to Glendora in 2003.

This a long awaited review.
I was in so much pain from my sciatic nerve pain last year. I was on pain pills, using the Lidocaine patch and a appointment for the Lumbar injection after weeks of therapy.
Went to I Ching in October because I had a trip to Europe planned in late Nov.
He told me I would be well in 12 daily treatments. Well, it took 16, but I went on vacation pain free, even after a 10 hour flight.
I remain pain free except for 2 follow up maintenance appointment.
It was pricy and took 16 sessions, but he has given me my life back to go about my normal routine.
I would do it again if needed.
If you are in a lot of pain, try it and be patient, you won’t be sorry.
No more pill, or patches and most important no more pain.

Went there for a recommended 10 sessions and after 8 did not see any results. The people are very nice, but did not work for me. Dr seemed to be a bit hasty with the needles. Made me really nervous. He does a process with a lot of electrical shock, so its different from other acupuncture.

I had been to another place in Diamond Bar about 5 times and loved it, but couldn’t make the drive due to time restraints. I came here and it was so painful and uncomfortable. I have sciatica and they had my lay on my stomach with a pillow underneath, and pillow under feet. Didn’t explain anything. The needles pulsated and was so uncomfortable and painful, didn’t check up on me until it was over. Then told me I could be healed in 12 visits coming every day or three times a week. $ 60 – 100 later and feeling no relief, I wanted to cry. Won’t be coming back.

Dr. Chen helped me in over a week start to feel like brand new again. My lower back and sciatica were just so bad I was just feeling horrible. I came to see him on my husbands advice and it was the best thing I could do. First week I came everyday and the following week just twice. I cannot tell you how much I appreciate all his help, he is excellent and very knowledgeable, the best I highly recommend him to everyone.

BEST THING I EVER DID for myself. I have had none stop difficulty with a hip and had worked with chiropractic for years. Did not follow my intuition on acupuncture. Dr. Chen is clear, to the point (no pun intended) and i cannot TELL you how much better I am.

I was living with frustrating pain for a couple of months in my lower back (sciatica nerve) I was hurting bad and couldn’t walk for a couple of weeks. A friend suggested acupuncture for pain management, I found Dr. Chen on Unilocal and after consulting with him he assured me pain relief after a number of treatments and sure enough after a few visits I started feeling better and walking better too. I even skipped out of there one time, but most importantly, I was able to get back to my life, my job, and be myself again. I don’t wish this type of pain upon anyone, but if you are living in pain, do your self a favor and see Dr. Chen.

LOVEEEE THIS PLACE!!! Dr. Chen and his wife run this place and they are sooo freaking friendly!
I went a few years back with knee and ankle pain. He was honest about how many sessions I needed, so I knew he wasn’t trying to get more money out of me.
I think I went about two years without having any pain in my knee and ankle. I love acupuncture because of this place!
