Periwinkle

Love going here for last minute cards and gift wrap. They also do a fantastic job of wrapping gifts and putting together baskets for a small fee. They are my new «go to» for wrapping special occasion gifts.

Lisa is very very helpful! I am actually on the phone with her right now and her Customer Service is absolutely phenomenal. I have been running into a lot of problems with a project I’m working on. She gave me so many different solutions that will help me get the job done. I haven’t seen the store, but if its as quality as Lisa, then it must be a great place/

Periwinkle is a cute shop in a string of cute shops on Glendora Avenue.
They have a FANTASTIC selection of wrapping paper. Definitely perfect for special packages to just give it a nice touch. They’ll even wrap it for you, I believe for a small fee.
They have a selection of decorative items, and I have found some great & unique gifts here. A friend who loves Paris once recorded a letter opener and magnifying glass with the Eiffel Tower.
The prices can be a little higher, but it’s a small local business.
The workers are always very friendly and helpful. Sometimes when I just walk around downtown with friends they’re friendly enough when we just walk around the store window shopping.

I went into Periwinkle looking for some flat kraft brown bags and while they didn’t have any, Hailee and Dakota were super helpful and searched online and called a place trying to help me find some close by. With no luck I ended up buying some kraft paper here. I’d highly recommend this place. Those two girls are awesome. Killer customer service!

I came in here today asking a few questions about a project that I found on Pinterest and the staff was very helpful. I got all the materials I needed and some were on sale too! I looked around at the assortment of scrapbooking and stationary supplies and made a mental note that I will be back again!

I created my own personal wedding invitations here. I saved myself a couple hundred dollars and it was so easy wish I would have found this place sooner. I was able to catch a glimpse of their wrapping skills and it is just perfection. Customer service is also great! Very cute place, it’s definitely worth a visit.

If you’re looking for that special gift for the person who has everything. This is the place. They have a nice selection, friendly staff and completely gift wrapping. Will return on my next visit to Glendora.

Periwinkle really is a one of a kind shop in Glendora. Not only do they have a super cute selection of gifts, there is a huge assortment of greeting cards, custom gift wrapping services and, Lisa, the shop owner, can help customers with custom invitations. It really is a joy going into the store because it is so whimsical and inviting. I have been patronizing this store for many years and it’s usually my first choice when shopping for my mother, grandmother, and wedding showers. The gifts here are very unique that you may not be able to find anywhere else. Not to mention, it’s an independent shop that is doing very well considering the economy. I highly recommend stopping by because everyone needs a dose of cuteness.

Seriously… this place could not get any better! For one, the staff is SUPER friendly. I have never been in there where someone, if not all of them, has greeted me and asked me how I am doing. The store is filled with so much good stuff, including everything for gift giving and gift wrapping! The one thing I see them for all the time is the gift wrapping they will do for you. If you purchase an item in the store, the house wrap is complementary. If you bring in your own, they will wrap it at a great price! I always bring in my gift baskets and they put them together so perfectly. I love Periwinkle!

Just walked in and walked out. Only one other customer. Husband and I were totally ignored. Not even a simple hi. They had some cute stuff but too bad No one bothered to help us.

I’ve purchased from this store twice, both times the employees were very friendly and helpful. My second visit, however, the employee was having trouble with her square card reader as it would not read my card until the third time she swiped it and square tried to charge me 3 times. I came in to sort everything out and when we thought everything was fine square still continued to charge me. Today though the same employee (who’s name I don’t remember, sorry!) refunded the rest of my money for the double charge. I felt like I was being a difficult customer, but she was very kind and patient and apologized for all the trouble. I will be back because I love all the little candles and soaps they sell. It’s a little pricey, but there are so many adorable little treasures it’s the perfect place to go find a lovely gift for anyone. Just try and pay with cash, so square doesn’t double or triple charge your card like mine!
Edit: the employee was Lisa, the shop owner I believe. She is absolutely lovely!

I’ve been here twice and both times I was ignored by everybody working there — no acknowledgments at all. 1 star because my sister likes it.

This place is so perfect for treasures and great customer service! They will also wrap any gift for a great price. So darling in there I love making a stop inside when I visit downtown Glendora.

This store is a little hidden gem in the corner of the San Gabriel valley.
I needed invitations to an upcoming summer event, and something a little bit snazier and with a personal touch than what you buy at the greeting card stores, but not as ridiculously expensive. (My parents were getting remarried for their anniversary).
Thanks to the Unilocal reviews I drove to this small store, and was surprised by the quality and atmosphere of Periwinkle.
* This place was the best of all worlds for me *:
— A truly new shopping discovery, as I do not buy a lot of paper products
— Hints of quality vintage material, which I am appreciating as I get older
— That sense that I am getting a great deal on stuff that would normally be a LOT more expensive elsewhere. (let me translate that into shopping-​speak: Prices are SALE PRICES elsewhere!!!)
— Great personal service by the staff, who were eager to help me make style and color decisions without pushing or up-​selling anything my way
— Bringing back that childhood joy of watching my own product come together before my eyes, done by my own hands. Like crafts shop, but at an adult, professional level
— And did I mention the staff was helpful? I felt more like I was at a friend’s house working on a project than at some store with a body minding the counter waiting for the clock to hit quitting time.
I kid you not that I felt giddy in the store, and wanted to stay long after closing time to come up with different and new ideas of things to create and add to my parents wedding (and my own home.)
When I got my final bill for my sale, I could not believe how much I had saved.
It is a bit of a drive, but well worth it.
Needless to say my family has been surprised by the quality of the invites, and I am very pleased with my experience. I am looking for any excuse just to go back there and work on something again.

I LOVE this store! We had our wedding invitations designed and handmade here. They are very attentive and creative. They also have an eclectic collection of stationary, wrapping paper, knick knacks, and decorative pieces for sale. I can spend hours in this store.

I just picked up my custom wedding invitations from Periwinkle today and they are perfect! Lisa is wonderful to work with and has the patience of an angel! It took us 4 hours to design and choose what I wanted. I don’t think any other place would spend that long with a customer! It took them 1 – 2 weeks to print/​glue/​address everything and when I picked it all up today, everything was tied up perfectly in boxes and ribbons– it was like a wonderful present to open up! I HIGHLY recommend Lisa and Periwinkle for custom invitations/​paper goods. I only have wonderful things to say!

Above & Beyond Service for our wedding invitations.
Came here to make our own wedding invitations. They walked us through the entire process in detail; everything, paper types, printing tips, mailing tips, assembly tips, etc. They helped us so much in getting our invitations made that I doubt many places offers customer service like Periwinkle. Anytime we had a question they would help us via phone. I highly recommend getting your custom invitations here whether you assemble them yourself, or have them take care of everything.

I love this store! they have a better location now too! (not far from its old one) Its next to the pet shop.
I had a vase with roses I wanted to have wrapped with ribbons, The girl working there did such a awesome job! I often go in there to see what new seasonal things they have and for candles.
So many neat unique items you just don’t see anywhere else.

Quaint store and good if you’re looking for a category of unique beyond Target. The staff is helpful and prices moderate (I always wonder how these little stand alone businesses stay in business these days! must be the Unilocal reviews ;D).
I purchased a couple of sets of Christmas cards in the 11^th hour. In fact, it was so late in the holiday game, they’ll be going out for Christmas 2011.
I hope I still have the same set of friends.

They have the BEST candles… I shop here weekly just for the candles. I usually find some other little treasure while I am there. They are always changing their inventory which is nice! They find the most unique items from all over the world! LOVE IT
