Born January 8^th, 1963, Gustavo Vasquez came into this world with a vision. A vision of color, a vision of life, a vision for the appreciation of art. Coming from a poor town in El Paso Texas, Vasquez became fascinated with art. By the fourth grade, Vasquez started drawing; his talents undeniable. He was asked by his teachers to join various art contest where he always came in first place. For the next ten years, Vasquez became very comfortable drawing with pencils but that’s when he decided to pick up a paint brush. From then on, Vasquez began to experiment with vibrant colors and different techniques, highly inspired by artists such as Jackson Pollock, Leroy Neiman and Van Gogh. In 2014 He met Bobby Watcharasakunee and together they formed Vasquez Studio Gallery in Glendora, CA. Today Vasquez’s work can be found in the home of many celebrities. All of Vasquez’s work is examined and appraised by Brett Maly from Pawn Stars.
