Needed a cab from the Ontario Airport, so I called up these guys. They can’t do pickups directly from the terminal, so I took the shuttle to the rental car building. It took them 5 – 10 minutes longer than predicted to arrive (20min), so I was standing outside in the windy cold getting anxious. I was just about to try calling the company up when the car pulled up. Surprisingly not a yellow cab (I think the car was gray but it was dark). The interior smelled strongly of smoke, so by the time I arrived home (~15min) I was extremely nauseated. At least the trip was quick.

Thank you to Freddy for going above and beyond! First of all, he put this mother at ease after talking to him on the phone about taking my daughter, a student at Azusa Pacific, to a Dr. appt. There ended up being
a mix up between my daughter and the driver (I have little doubt it was my daughter’s fault), and although the driver got her to her appt, he wasn’t in the area to pick her up in a timely manner. Not only did Freddy call another cab company to pick her up, he wouldn’t let me pay. I will definitely use your company again should the need arise. Thank you, Freddy!

You watch the news these days and you’d think Über has taken over the world. Ha. Not here in the San Gabriel Valley. Luckily we’ve got Xpress Yellow Cab. I haven’t used a taxi in a long time. Called these guys up and was immediately put at ease by the helpful guy at the other end of the line. That first contact with a company on the phone goes a long way toward an impression you’re dealing with professionals. I’ve booked a ride a couple days from now, confident I’ve made the right choice going with Xpress Yellow Cab.

Was 10 minutes early, explained fare to me early as we were in traffic. Thanks for the ride today from Chino Hills to Orange. Will call you again… Like the fact I can book you in advance rather than a Über/​Lyft that I don’t know the available cars. Enjoyed the conversation, be well.

Great, prompt service, friendly drivers and competitive fares! Xpress Yellow Cab is definitely my cab of choice. The cabs are clean and wait times are never more than 20 minutes. Payment is easy as well, even if you don’t have cash. Definitely one of the best taxi services in the area!

We needed a pickup at 4:30 am in Claremont, CA. (The shuttle service we called would only pick up up at 3 am!). We called first for rate information and then for the reservation. They were very courteous and helpful. They were also very punctual, even though several gates to the community were locked. Would definitely use them again when I move to Claremont, CA.

I had called for a pickup at 9pm and asked to be picked up at 2:30. It is now 3:00 and they just told me it could be up to another 30 mins before I get picked up. Thought this would be avoided by calling ahead.
Update on my last review. I waited another 30 minutes after talking to the guy after he was already 30 minutes late and no one showed up again. So I tried calling multiple times and my call was rejected and sent to voicemail every time. For some reason I waited another twenty minutes just in case they were going to show up but nothing. They just never showed up, even after planning it more than five hours ahead of time and calling again once they were late. Not even a call apologizing or informing me they wouldnt be able to pick us up. DO NOT USE THEM.
ANOTHER UPDATE: the owner messaged me sincerely apologizing for the inconvenience. Offered me a discounted rate but I very rarely use taxi service so I doubt I will ever use it. Gave them another star for the apology and offer.

Freddy the «owner/​operator» was very prompt with his service. He got me to my destination quick and fast. I left my cel phone in his cab after he dropped me off to my destination and he came back quick to drop off my phone. Excellent service. Will absolutely use again.

I was stranded in Pomona after a car accident on a Sunday afternoon. I have had a number of negative experiences with taxi reliability so I was wary to call one. I called 3 services and went with Express Yellow Cab because their price was competitive and they said they could pick me up within 15 minutes… others estimated 45 minutes or more. And they arrived on time! I had the good fortune to be driven by the owner of the company, Freddy, a very polite and personable person in his late 20’s whose determination to run and grow a successful business is based on an understanding of hard work and great customer service. He drove me home to Pasadena. Even though I was having a rough day with a car that had to be towed away from an accident, something about Freddy’s integrity and kindness really encouraged my mood in a positive direction. I will certainly keep his card and call on him again.

This taxi service is the best. The driver was friendly and was not creepy at all! Ive used this taxi service a couple time and will continue to do so! Freddy was my driver about 2 times and he is super nice. He gets you where you need to be quick and saves you money by taking the fastest routes. The cab was very clean! And you can pay with card! Edit: My calls got ignored tonight 04÷04÷14 around 11:30, why? We were freezing outside and had to call another company. I’m disappointed. you guys were my favorite.

This is one of the worst experience I’ve ever encountered! The round trip service was booked AND PAID for a day in advance, yet when it came to full-​filling the service order they FAILED big time!!! When they FINALLY picked my mother up (in a reg car … it was nice & clean BUT it was NOT a cab … someones personal vehicle??), now 45 min late, the driver had no clue where to go (???) and upon delivery to her destination, the driver ASSURED me that the mishap was corrected and they would return at the proper time. BUT come the end of the evening there was NO driver, NO communication from their dispatch or the driver, NOT GOOD!!! They didn’t even have the courtesy to call & apologize for THEIR error!
OK …Although I had to initiate the call [to find out what happened Saturday night], I’m changing the rating by a star because the owner of the co. was VERY apologetic and refunded all my money for their error and miscommunication.
