Very nice, dense soft-​serve vanilla ice cream. I had it dipped in Birthday Cake dip. This was very flavorful and über-​vanilla, as birthday cake flavor should be.
This place has a huge selection of fast food, which I didn’t try, as well as hard and soft ice creams in numerous flavors, dips and sundaes. The Sundae of the week had a theme related to the current movie showing at the adjoining Drive-​In. The owners were clever: you can access the food stand from both outside and inside the Drive-​In, so if you don’t want to see a movie just to get the yummy soft-​serve, you can just drive UP and not in!

I love Twist. Hard ice cream, soft serve, frozen yogurt, take-​home pints from past day’s special flavor… you really cannot go wrong. Plus you can eat it sitting at a picnic table that overlooks the Drive-​In, which is basically the most adorable Americana type of situation ever. If you live in Bethlehem and want a prettier scene than Delaware Ave (at Jim’s) then head to Twist.
