History
Established in 1981.
Th hospital was opened in November 1981 by married couple Dr. Mary Ann and Michael Kapolka. Originally only occupying about 1000 square feet the hospital has since grown about 5 times in size, and now has room for a boarding facility, grooming, surgical suite, treatment area and five examination rooms. In 1988 the Kapolka’s sold the practice to the current owner, Dr. Randal Rieder. The hospital has maintained its extended hours, open 7 days a week, and has four on staff veterinarians to complete routine examinations, surgueries and help with emergency services. The hospital also welcomes exotic pets, including rabbits, guinea pigs, rats, mice, hamsters, snakes, lizards, turtles and birds.
