History

Established in 2003.

Fabulous Faces was formed in 2003 by Jane Lashner and over the past five years the company has blossomed to serve clients in the five-​county Philadelphia area. Jane began painting faces at one of her son’s school carnivals six years ago and got hooked on face painting. She heard many people say, «now that’s a fabulous face» after being face painted, so she decided to call her company Fabulous Faces. After requests for balloon twisting — Jane learned the art of balloon making by taking lessons and now incorporates balloons into the face painting or does stand alone balloons at parties and events. Jane has recently twisted balloons for Royal Caribbean International in December of 2011 and is a face painter and balloon twisting artist for Royal Caribbean. «Its amazing how people from all over the world love balloons.» Jane enjoys painting and twisting for the smallest birthday party to the largest event and can supply multiple artists for any situation.

Jane prides herself in being called on time and professional by all of her clients. «Rarely do I do a job that I am not enthusiastically asked back for the following year or time they need a painter or balloon artist as you can see by my resume. Part of what makes me unique is that I ask for input from my subjects as to what they want painted or twisted. Many of my designs are custom designs. I find that it means more when they have some input as to what is painted or created for them.»

Jane is the mom of two boys and lives with her sons and husband in Montgomery County.
