History
Established in 1953.
The late Alex Matus Sr. started as a one-man operation of assembling jalousie windows and storm doors in the basement of his home. During the 1960’s and 1970’s, replacement windows gained popularity and the business grew with the increased demand. It was during this time that his three sons began to help out.
With only word of mouth advertising, steady growth continued into the 1980’s. In 1985 the business was passed to his sons. Mr. Matus’ ideals of a strong work ethic and a commitment to customer satisfaction were also passed.
Today with two showrooms, Matus Windows is the premier supplier and installer of Marvin windows and doors in the Philadelphia region. Both showrooms help homeowners and builders select a design to meet the needs of each individual project. With a knowledgeable sales team and an experienced installation crew, Matus Windows continues its service of excellence throughout the area.
