we usually go to the city for haircuts, but my husband went here on a whim to try it out because he needed a haircut sooner than he could get to the city for. They did a pretty good job on his hair so i took my son over the weekend and was very happy with it. Greg was kind, and friendly, my son felt comfortable, and the price was great. He gave us exactly what we wanted, asking me a few times if the length and what not was ok with me — rather than just doing whatever he felt was best. I really appreciated that. We will be back for sure.

This is a true barber shop. Always a good cut. A couple of reservation days and a couple of first come/​first serve days. Good for both adults and kids. Good magazines laying around and usually some friendly banter! I have been coming here off and on for over 35 years. (Bob’s). Glenview tradition. Greg is the man!

Just got my first haircut from Greg’s Barbershop. Kornel was my barber, and I can honestly say that he gave me one of the best haircuts that I’ve ever received. The staff is super friendly and the shop is inviting. This is my first haircut in 6 weeks so the whole process took about 35 minutes. I got a 3.5 on the sides and a light trim on top. The bottom of my neck was done with clippers and the rest (sides and top) were all cut and blended with scissors. I asked for a hot lather neck shave — which they do have — and I believe it was $ 3 extra because I ended up paying $ 20 in total (not including tip) which was worth every penny. I was just amazed with how much attention to detail Kornel had, especially on my neck, which really gave me a nice clean-​cut and tight feel. Great job! I will definitely be coming back for my next hair cut.

Greg’s is truly a very good barbershop and a great part of the neighborhood. I take my son to see Kornel, who is fantastic with kids. My son has had others at Greg’s cut his hair but Kornel «knows his head» the best.

This is a good solid barbershop. I’ve been coming here for years.

Greg’s Barber Shop is the only real barbershop in Glenview. All of the barbers cut hair perfectly and do so in a timely matter. I have been coming here for as long as I can remember and will continue to give them my business.

Artur cut my hair last time. He is excellent barber. He has done wonderful job with cliper and scissors. I think he is the best.

Quick note and possible correction.
Greg’s shop DOES offer hot lather razor shaves of your neck. You have to ask for it ;-)
Greg is an excellent barber who works only with a scissors. I haven’t seen that in years. The rest of the team does good work. No complaints.

Often things like barbers come down to personal preference, but Greg has done a wonderful job in the past. Very professional. I have not worked with the other gentlemen in the shop, so cannot comment on them, but Greg (the owner) was excellent.

«Horrible barbers. When you think of a barber, you think of a hot shave. They trimmed me and said I was done. Comes out that they don’t do razor shaves. What kid of barber shop is this? More of like a disguised salon.»

This is a great barber shop. It’s hard to find one these days, but it is here. There are 4 barber. They take appointments and walk-​ins Tuesday — Friday and walk-in’s only all day Saturday. They are very friendly and do a great job. Haircuts are $ 17.

Greg’s Barbershop is great. Professional, low cost and efficient. They only accept cash and you may make an appointment if you choose to (I recommend making an appointment).

Great place with fair prices. Kornel and Greg are super. Tuesday can be amusing — no apointments on Tuesday and the crowd can vary. Other days they accept appointments.

The sharpest scissors north of Lake Street. Greg and Robert are class acts, for sure.
