Stay away from this company. Joe, the owner appears to be honest and trustworthy when trying to get your business. After being hired and paid in full he did not complete the job. I have a stump that covers half of my front yard to prove the incomplete work. We have been waiting for over a month for his «stump guy» to return. Of interest is that he picks up the phone when we dial from a new number, thinking it is a request for a new tree job. He continues to promise to complete the job, yet as of this review has yet to show up. Consider yourself warned if you choose to deal with Joe and EZ Tree Care. EZ Rip Off is more like it.

Buyer beware, this company has nothing but excuses! Sure they gave me a great price, because I paid cash, but they do half a job. They left brush and parts of the tree so big at my curb, I can’t do anything with them. Left huge ruts in my lawn that they said they would be back to fix the next morning when they finish the cleanup. E-​Z Tree Care guy Christian then asked for half the money so he could get their flat tires fixed on the equipment to finish the job, 4 hours later the equipment finally showed up. Very poorly run business. Their equipment leaked oil all over my street. I made comments on their Facebook page about them, now they blocked me, surprise. I should have paid the extra money to a reputable company. If I can get somebody to help me lift this wood they left behind, I’m going to drop it all at their front door!

Should have read the reviews sooner. Same experience, gave me a discount for cash, did half the work, left all the wood on premise, destroyed my fence and retaining wall.
Not returning phone calls now real class act.

E-​Z Tree care service work has been incomplete for 3 weeks now. Within these 3 weeks i have called 2 – 3 times daily trying to reach the Owner Joe and his sales man Christian.
Sadly i was able to reach them a couple of times with promises of coming by the house and finishing up the work and repair on the damaged fence.
If you chose to use them, i have two suggestions for you. Pay them cash so you can get the deepest discount. But please do not pay them in full until the job is complete.

If it was possible to give this company 0 stars, I would.
My husband and I had cut down about 8 overgrown tree/​bushes, that were roughly 6ft tall each. We had originally spoken to our township about them picking up the branches, and they said that was fine as long as they were at the curb on recycling day. Well, on recycling day instead of our branches being removed we had a citation with a week deadline for removal. I called EZ Tree care on a Thursday afternoon, and explained my situation. They were very friendly and sympathetic to my situation, and made me an appointment for the following day (Friday) at 3pm to come remove the branches/​brush from the curb. Well Friday at 3pm rolls around and no word from them. I call and someone named Joe told me that this was another person named Christians area, and he would call me back immediately. 5pm comes and still no word. I call the company back and no answer, so I left a voicemail. A half hour later Christian calls me from his cellphone and is like «what do you want.» I explained his situation and he said he would have a crew come out shortly. Well about an hour and a half later Christian shows up alone and says that he can’t do it today, but they made an appointment for me to have a crew come before noon on Saturday, and that I was a priority due to all the confusion on Friday. 1130am on Saturday and still no word or sign of Christian or his crew. My husband called and Christian said that his crew was just finishing a job and we would be the next place they went. 1:30 pm and still no word, so we called again. He said that he was just waiting on word from Joe and would call us back in 15 minutes. 3:00pm STILL NOTHING. My husband calls and Christian says «Yeah, just find someone else, we aren’t coming.»
THIS IS NOT RIGHT. I wasted 2 days waiting for these men to come, just to have them cancel. I would not EVER recommend this company to any person ever. You are just going to be wasting your time and energy by trying to even get someone to come out. This is hands down one of the most UNPROFESSIONAL situations that I’ve ever been put it. It truly is disgusting.

This company has subpar customer service — they deposited my $ 800 (the only reason we paid such an exorbitant price is because they promised to do the job that same day), and then proceeded to do nothing for the next 3 days. We called over and over, with no response from them (they said their truck broke down… fine). Finally, they cut down the tree. They left a huge mess in the front yard and side of the property — and it looks like they have no intention of cleaning up the mess (its 3 days later now)

I called this company on a Saturday to come out and give me a quote to get some branches cut that were hanging over my fence from my neighbor’s yard. They said they’d be out the following Monday at 9AM to give me an estimate. They never showed up. I called them around 11AM to see what happened. The guy who answered said he was busy and could come around 1 or 2 PM, so I said sure. Again, he never showed up or bothered to call me. Based on my experience and the other reviews for this company on Unilocal,I’d stay away. They are clearly unprofessional.

Never Finished The Job… Found EZ tree care working on a neighbors house. Had Joe quote me a price and hired him for the job. Joe cut the trees down and promised to take the remaining wood the following day. So i paid Joe in full, but he never returned to pick up the remaining wood. Won’t return my calls. He did the same at my neighbors house. DO NOT HIRE!!!

Do not use! We had trees cut down. They left the yard a mess, most of the wood at the curb, and did a terrible job. Promised to come back and on that note we paid them. Big mistake! Now they won’t answer our phone calls.
