History

Established in 1987.

Acupuncturist Eli Jacobe graduated from the New England School of Acupuncture in 1985. He also studied both acupuncture and Chinese Qigong therapeutic exercise extensively with Thomas Tam, Lic​.Ac. In 1988, Eli took a four week, advanced acupuncture training in Beijing, China at the Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine. That program included both classroom instruction and hospital treatment training.

His most recent advanced training was in December 2012. This was a 60 hour certification in neurological and stroke rehabilitation with Dr. Shi Xue Min of the Tianjin University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Since the 1970’s this reknowned physician has developed a system of remarkably effective acupuncture treatments known as the as XNKQ method. The abbreviation XNKQ stands for the Chinese phrase Xing Nao Kai Qiao, which in English means Awaken The Brain and Open The Senses.
