Cape Ann Distance Project is a USATF registered running club offering group workouts, supported long runs, youth running programs, and individual run coaching. Our training schedule varies and the most up to date workout schedule can be found on the Web site.
History
Established in 2014.
As running enjoys a second boom on Cape Ann, coaches and accomplished runners Jenn Brooks and Layce Alves saw a need for a running program to take runners beyond the initial stage of running to complete a 5k. Cape Ann Distance Project was formed to provide support for runners looking for that next step — to help them push past their former limits and learn how to further improve their times and fitness.

Business Owner
Certified coach Jenn Brooks has been running for as long as she can remember. She competed at a national level in high school, was a member of an All-American 4×800m relay team, and was a collegiate track and cross country runner. Since college she has continued to race on roads, trails, cross country courses, and mountains; she has competed in every standard distance from 200 meters to 50 miles. Jenn loves to coach runners as much as she loves to run. She believes there is always something new to learn about the sport and prioritizes a balanced training schedule to get results without injuries.
