Just Nails by Vicki

Here’s something you don’t see every day: A Unilocal review for a nail salon by a guy. I have been going to Vicki for manicures for quite a long time and I can tell you she’s the friendliest most professional person I know. She does a fantastic job and when I make an appointment she’s always ready and waiting for me. I would never go see anyone else!

I saw the other reviews for Nails by Vicki and had to write my own. I have been going to Nails by Vicki every two weeks for gel nails for over a year and found the service to be excellent. The staff has always been attentive and professional.
I don’t know what happened with the other clients who reviewed the salon (maybe they are confused by another salon?) but I’ve only had good experiences at Nails by Vicki. My suggestion to people looking for a nail salon in Gloucester is to try Nails by Vicki for themselves.

i entered this salon and was greeted and offered an appointment time 45 minutes after i came in but didnt have anything else to do so i sat and waited while a nail tech stared at me «waiting for her appointment to show up.» when she could have done mine in the mean time… the people who run this place are pretty rude, as soon as a number of clients left they talked about them. not cute. this place is run down. the pedicure station was no more than a bucket you could have at home. the quality of the nails are fine… they didnt have me wash the filings off my hands which i thought was a little strange and the lady did not wash her hands in between my nails and the next persons. im not sure ill be going back.

I have been going to Just Nails for the last 15 years, and you couldn’t ask for a better place to go! You can not only have a top quality job done on you nails but it is a fun atmosphere. It is great going to a nail salon and have the people working on your nail able to speak to you in ENGLISH!

Horrible experience. I called to see if they had Gel nails, they are different than acrylic. More flexible and thinner than acrylic. They said yes. Part way through the process I noticed that they were doing acrylic, they said no they are gel. I’m not a pro, but it’s not the same. I’ve had the gel nails before and loved them.
The people there were dis-​shelved, gossiping and rude. The shop was clean I guess, but really run down. The manicure itself was very poorly excuted. I had to go home and re-​do my polish it was so bad. I was treating myself for my birthday and it was no treat. It was a giant waste of time and money. There is nothing that I like about this place.
