Seriously disappointing. There’s a very poor selection and no used books to thumb through. The dog in the store solely bumped this place up from two to three stars for me.

Nice bookstore located toward the end of downtown Gloucester. I found the customer service really nice. Both ladies were approachable and friendly, and even though they did not have the book I was looking for in stock they offered to order it and have it within a few days. I passed, but I loved browsing and saw several books that intrigued. The next time I’m stuck in town and need a book, I will definitely pay this place a visit first. For tourists, they have a great selection of books about Gloucester and Cape Ann. I say for tourists, but anyone interested in local history could find some gems on their shelves. I might just have to go back sooner rather than later and do some browsing!

A wonderful local bookstore run by people who are passionate about books. The selection is comprehensive and varied, and as large as their small store allows. They’re more than willing to order anything they don’t have in stock.

Cute small town bookstore, not an amazing selection, but I’m happy that small brick and mortar shops like this haven’t been shut down by large corporate chains and online booksellers.

This is a fantastic independent book store. Great titles, robust fiction section and a really great feel. The back of the store is a wall of windows looking our over Gloucester Harbor. Great place to shop for a book and take in the local scene.
