My girlfriend and I went here this morning for breakfast. Never again! The worst experience of any restaurant in the area. We were met at the register by an unfriendly, indifferent girl who looked and acted like she was about 12 years old. We placed our order at the register and were told our food would be brought to us. We sat ourselves at a booth and waited. I ordered coffee that did not come while we were waiting. The order was delivered to us in a reasonable time, but when it arrived, I could see why. The meal was on a cheap paper plate that looked like it came from Dollar Tree. The utensils were also plastic. The portions were small, and the food was mediocre. The scrambled eggs looked and tasted like they came from a microwave. The bacon had no flavor and the 2 pancakes were so small and tasted like they came straight from an Aunt Jemima box. Had to ask for ketchup, which of course came in packets, and the margarine was so oily and bland it was inedible. Oh yes, still no coffee. When I asked where it was, the 12 year old girl said it was over by the entrance and I had to get it myself. Why wasn’t I told this when we first came in? If I didn’t ask, I would have ended up paying for coffee I never got to drink. They make you pay right when you order. I can see why. I would have refused to pay for such mediocre food. I wasted 13.00 in this place. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place. You are much better off at McDonalds or Market Basket, with their pre-made breakfast sandwiches sitting under the heat lamps.

Once was enough. The sandwiches we ordered were clearly microwaved which would be fine if the products were fresh. Save yourself the bill and go to McD’s or Dunks for the same thing.

I absolutely love the food here. I’ve been eating there for about seven years and still crave it. Their bagels are some of the best I had. Asiago, everything, and spinach are the best, paired with the fresh tasting flavored cream cheeses(veggie and jalapeño are my favorite). Good coffee flavors that don’t come from concentrated shots. I will continue to eat there even though I’ve moved further away.

Two friends is an awesome place! They have a good selections of coffee, treats, sandwiches, bagels, and many other things. There are always a variety of different things every time I walk in and place my order for either breakfast or lunch. I can’t complain about the prices that they as for, it’s dirt cheap compared to that of The Bagel Café in Manchester. I would really recommend those who haven’t come here for some food to stop by and see what I’m talking about.

Overpriced! Very skimpy on the deli sandwiches. Where’s the beef? I got a sandwich and a coke and it cost me 10 bucks! I can get much better sandwiches, with more meat on them for a lot less money down the road. It’s easy to see why there’s never anybody in there.

Sent from God! Diamond in the Rough… lets me honest, manch food sucks. But this place is a little slice of heaven on a lazy morning. Their biscuits and gravy(special) is unbelievable, and the jalapeño cream cheese is the best I’ve ever had… Used to buy tubs of it before heading out of town. They have delicious pre-cooked meals in their freezer and some of the best sweet-treats in town. If you haven’t been here yet. GO.

Two Friends is around the corner from my apartment but it took me over a year to discover it. Since then I have become a fan and frequent regular. They make their own breakfast treats ranging from bagels, muffins, chocolate but clusters, and various bake shop items that look tasty. The coffee is decent and on a self serve system, which I prefer over traditional coffee shop order and serve at the counter. The iced coffee confused me at first. You pick up the cup have it filled with ice at the counter and then fill with a variety of iced coffee options from the cooler. The bagel and cream cheese options are listed on the menu board to the right as you walk in as well as lunch options. All sandwiches are served with a choice of three sides. The staff is surly at best but that is why I choose to go back. There are no forced corporate smiles here and I love it. You get nothing but good old fashioned new england sass and contempt. Go get a bagel and coffee and enjoy the rest of your day.

The made to order sandwiches & wraps are served with choice of bag of chips, potato salad, or macaroni pasta salad. A half sandwich and cup of soup combo is offered for $ 5.99 plus tax. There are also frozen and refrigerated entrees to go with plenty of pasta dishes, comfort dishes, and whole savory pies. See the menu offerings, specials, catering, and prices at
The place is order at the counter with an open kitchen and booth seating. The St. A’s students stop here for lunch. Two Friends Café also supports Project Walk( ), which improves the lives of people with spinal cord injuries through exercise recovery programs, education, and moral support. I get the Turkey Salad on a Wheat Wrap($ 6.47 with tax) with a side of pasta salad. The wrap is warmed in the microwave for 15 seconds and then stuffed & rolled tight with plenty of fresh turkey salad with mayo, spices, & crunchy celery(almost like tuna salad texture), lettuce, tomatoes, onions, & pickles, pretty good. The elbow macaroni pasta salad(no mayo) with carrots & celery has a sweet taste, al dente macaroni! The service is good and the food is ready in about 5 – 10 minutes after ordering.
