Sand Dollar Inn

This place is not fancy, but it’s one of the cheapest places in Gold Beach. It’s not disgusting and scary, despite the low prices. It’s actually well cared for, and although it’s a small little joint on the highway, it’s clean and quiet.
I paid just over $ 40 a night (during June, no less) for a queen room (although the bed seemed to be more of a double than a queen). The bed wasn’t fantastically comfortable, but it was decent. The roof over hangs every room, so you can smoke outside without getting wet and walk to the ice machine under cover.
It doesn’t have a pool, a sauna, a hot tub or any other ammenitie like that, but once again, it was $ 40 a night.
The front desk people are super nice, and it appears that the owner or manager may live on site.
I would definately stay here again!
