Casa of Jefferson & Gilpin Counties

CASA of Jefferson and Gilpin Counties is a great organization that cares for their volunteers and provides support to kids that have been abused and neglected. I am concerned with the incorrect information provided in Chrystal W.‘s review:
«I applied to be a volunteer for CASA. This application is a 5 pager, with lots of questions.. Not only the usual, name, address, etc. But it asked questions about how you would handle different situations. What if the father of the child came in drunk.. etc. Bottom line, it took me a long time to fill out, think through and apply. I sent the application in.. Nothing. Heard Nothing.»
I am not certain you applied with CASA of Jefferson and GIilpin Counties but perhaps a different CASA office, as CASA of Jefferson and Gilpin Counties has a nine page application-​not five (as this is a serious commitment so they ask a lot of detailed and some personal questions) and there is a question about a child named Katie being abused by her uncle, nothing about a drunk father.

They don’t seem to be very organized, or very committed to having a good volunteer program.
