History

Established in 2015.

I am Jen Thoemke; the owner of Connects Workspace. Coworking is a relatively new concept but fits perfectly with my passions AND I love everything about Golden; its historic charm, small town feel, the «Welcome to Golden» arch, that I get to say hi to my friends and neighbors as walk the streets or along the creek and that life kind of slows down and reminds me about the important things. What a great opportunity to be able to start my coworking space in the heart of downtown Golden in the Armory building! Stop by and see me sometime! Meet the Business Owner

Business Owner

Jen was born and raised in Colorado and spent her teen years in Golden where she met her husband Dan. For the past 15 years she has been in various leadership positions ranging from non-​profits, small local businesses and a large corporate mortgage company.

Through all of these experiences she comes alive when it comes to creating infrastructure, raising up leaders and bringing a sense of community to what can be the arduous task of growing a business. She has had the dream of starting her own business for as long as she can remember. With her four children growing up and leaving home she thought this would be a great time to start her new adventure! As the owner of Connects Workspace Jen is managing all of the day to day details but her favorite part of the day is getting to chat with the members of Connects Workspace and the many locals that stop in to get a tour of the beautiful space!
