We had a conference in Golden and chose to stay here. Rooms were clean, great water pressure in the shower. Staff was five star! The front desk person was pleasant and called up to make sure everything in our room met our expectations. The bar tender was attentive and friendly. Also, we love that there’s a Starbucks in the lobby. Would definitely stay here again!

Came to Denver for 3 nights. My wife made a reservation at this hotel weeks ago. We called the hotel this morning to confirm the room, they told us the room was guaranteed and will be there when we arrive. We arrived in Denver that evening and the hotel called us at the airport to say «they were sorry» and the hotel was sold out. They gave our room away. But they could get us a room at another Marriott for the first night of our three night stay. We requested that we just stay at that 2nd Marriott for all 3 nights and they said we could «if they had rooms available.» So we could not stay there for the 2nd and 3rd nights. They were also unsure if there will be rooms available at the first Marriott where we had reservations (that they guaranteed) for the 2nd and 3rd nights. So it’s 10:30pm in Denver, we have not gotten to the 2nd Marriott and I don’t know where I am staying the 2nd and 3rd night of this trip. This has never happened to me in my 50 years of staying at hotels. At least they said they were very sorry. Did I mention we were traveling with a 4 year old?

I have stayed in many Marriott Hotels in my life, and this one was not of the quality of most. Usually Marriott upholds a standard of cleanliness and consistency but this is not what I experienced in this situation. Every night we returned to our hotel they had not cleaned our room. There were no fresh towels and the beds were unmade. We even reminded them after the first incident and it still did not happen. However we did speak with the concierge, Matthew, who was helpful and respectfully apologized, even giving us a one night discount for the trouble. In all other aspects it met the standards for Marriott but is not being managed effectively.

Very nice staff working hard to make a bad redesign work.
The rooms and facility is nice and clean. The breakfast is a huge mess due to the Marriott Bistro initiative. They have done this at several locations changing traditional buffets into poorly staged badly overpriced bistro. The food is good but you will wait 20 – 30 mins for a breakfast sandwich.
The service is horribly slow, though the employees are working hard. All of the courtyards with bistros are the same. Understaffed and over priced. I can’t understand why Marriott does this. I avoid their hotels with this setup.

Great place to stay for the money. Near the highway and a large shopping /​dining area.
The place is clean and staff is professional and friendly. Internet is AMAZING for travelers.
I am disappointed for several reasons though.
1. The hotel strongly smells of chlorine. They might be using too much…
2. Food was not that good. The fries were so heavily salted I had to spend 15 minutes unsalting my mother’s and my fries.
3. Walls are thin and cleaning service talks very loudly to each other in the morning. Can’t sleep in if you wanted to.

Close to everything .and I can’t say enough about the front desk staff .very very nice. Helpful ect …, maid staff not so much .I had my DND sign out and maid came in room anyway .made just 1 out of the 2 beds .didn’t empty trash or anything. which I found Odd? Nothing was missing but it was def weird… rooms were pretty clean upon our arrival … but needs updated bad .carpet is pretty shabby… could here toilet flushing in next room .all in all its an ok place … because of the the super thin walls I would NOT recommend if your a light sleeper like I am … Also the whole hotel smelled like very strong chlorine .as a pool owner myself I know there is NO reason you should smell chlorine that strong it burned my eyes even in the elevator and on the 3rd floor… so we didnt use the pool or hot tub .I was afraid of the chlorine levels .that smell was overwhelming …

It was just like a Courtyard I stayed at in suburban Washington, DC. And in Wilmington, DE. And in… In other words expect to get just what you expect. Adequate, functional, and no surprises. When I overslept the standard checkout time the staff was understanding and accommodating — good on them!

Overall, a nice place to stay for money. Hotel staff is friendly and helpful. Everything there is easy to access — not a lot of walking. Rooms were clean and beds quite comfortable.
No, Neal — the TV’s haven’t been changed — still an old style Zenith in my room. But I’m not really there to watch TV, so as long as it works, no problem for me.

A year later — still the same good comfort and service — and still no flat panel HD TVs in the rooms.
The manager asked me how my stay was — I told him I’d been here a year ago and that overall I liked the place — but that they needed to transition from the CRT style TVs to HD — as well as offer HD channels. He agreed and said it’s been on the planning board for a long time — but allegedly their management group was delaying this.
Breakfast food in the lobby restaurant was decent — the service was excellent from a young server — she was very efficient and on top of everything — and she was super friendly and personable — unlike some of the grumpy hotel waiters I’ve experienced at other locations.
