Best sandwich I’ve ever had. Plain and simple. You can make your own sandwich with unlimited meats/veggies for under $ 11. You can choose to panini press your sandwich too. I’m only visiting, but you can guarantee that every time I come back I will eat here!

Great diversity, down and dirty service but friendly and tasteful at same time. Lean meats and veggie options too; turn any sandwich into a salad, no problem. Buffalo Reuben is dreamy!

Anyone that loves sandwiches knows it’s about the bread and the freshness. Nailed both! I live in Denver, takes 30 min to get here, 10 min to go through a line that always starts at the door, 30 to get home. Worth it every time. It doesn’t matter which sandwich I’ve had, I’ve loved each one. Service is always friendly and attentive. It is a small space but I say great business plan. Look busy, stay busy. There has been outdoor seating open every time I’ve gone. It’s nice to people watch on that stretch. If u want to open in Denver I would not be upset.

Don’t be discouraged by the lines out the door. It’s totally worth the wait. I feel it’s the best sandwich in town and they have countless types to order. The employees are all great and friendly even under pressure and the never ending line. 5 stars all the way

A quaint local Golden deli. Went with my mom and I ordered the salad and my mom ordered a sandwich. Their customer service was amazing! All the workers were so friendly and accommodating. Other than the tiny overcrowded space, I would eat there again. The next time I will get my meal to go and avoid the chaos.

If I could open up one of these places in San Antonio I would do it in a heartbeat. My husband went to School of Mines so I have been going here religiously for many years now. When we moved away we realized this is one of the places we miss the most. ANYTHING you get on the menu is delicious and all of the employees are extremely helpful and friendly. Typically they remember you after you’ve been in a few times too. I can’t even complain about the wait when it’s out the door because it’s completely worth it. If you’re in the area definitely stop in and get a sandwich. Take it to go and go sit by the river for the full Golden experience :)

Little sandwich shops like this are the best. D’deli came highly recommended from the two friends I was with and we were getting hunger pains from our morning hike in the area. There was barely a line(I heard this is not the norm) and I got a sandwich with bbq pork, lots of veggies, cream cheese and raspberry chipotle sauce. Sounds weird in writing I realize but it somehow worked. Lol it was so so good. We took our food to the river two blocks away and chowed down while enjoying the weather. Perfect! Would I come back? Hell to the yeah!

Stopped by around 3 pm, no line, just me. Staff was super friendly and happily prepared a turkey sandwich for me. It was OK, nothing special. I had a half sandwich, «build your own» with turkey, pepperoni, provolone, lettuce, onions, and jicama. It was OK but it was just nothing to write home about. I found the baguette bread to be difficult to work with. You have to bite so hard to get a tear on the bread, the sandwich ingredients go skittering out the sides. Plus it was an extremely overpriced lunch. $ 8.50 for half a sandwich, no drink or chips included.

Golden Rack Elk. Get this. D’Deli located in downtown Golden is straight up a local favorite. No frills. Almost always a long line that stretches out past the door. A small space inside with a few tables. You will find during sunny days everybody will be on the sidewalk enjoying their sandwiches with generous meat and fresh bread. What more do you need?

I ordered a small sandwich and I like spicy so I went with their firecracker. It was so good. I tried their golden ginger beer and it was so good. I want to go back and try more of their sandwiches and the local golden colas

Can’t believe I have never reviewed this place before as it is my go to lunch spot when I need a sandwich. Menu has a million times on it and all of them are fantastic. There is always a line out the door during lunch periods(and sometimes even before and after) so plan accordingly on your visit. Food wise, it all depends on your taste but all of the sandwiches come with great ingredients on fresh bread. Ddeli is a must visit if you are in the golden area.

Killer deli/sandwich shop. Owner Al behind the counter slingin’ subs as fast as possible. You know that it is good because a) the owner is making the food and, b) you know he’s a goof because he’s a Raiders fan! He probably dreams up his sandwiches in his sleep(to stop the nightmares of being a RAIDERS fan)!!!

My wife and I stopped here on a whim. We took a trip to Denver for our anniversary and decided to get out of the city for a little, so we found ourselves in Golden. I have to admit this place has it going on when it comes to sandwiches. I got the Italian and it was overloaded with meat and toppings. I loved it. We came in after two decent sized groups and the entire establishment was packed. There was nowhere to sit, except outside. It was below freezing, so we went back to the car. If I was from the area, I would love to see this place get a larger establishment to do business.

There are many sandwich shops around Golden, so I’m writing this review to tell you why D’deli is my favorite in town. The flavor combinations that D’deli has put every other sandwich I’ve ever had to shame. They use amazing quality products and get fresh bread sourced from a local baker. The owner knows my sandwich by heart when I walk in and they have great customer service here. There’s a 10% discount to Mines students and a loyalty card. My favorites here are the Bahn Mi(a vietnamese inspired sammy that’s got bold flavor, ask for Sriracha and sunflower seeds for an extra spicy crunch). The Aspen Buddha has a great curry aioli that makes the sandwich and the dalton is also quite delicious. If you are in the mood for a good sandwich in Golden, look no further than D’deli. Sure the line can be ominous at times, but we wouldn’t be standing in it if it wasn’t worth it!

This is the first place i tried after moving to Colorado, and it left me with a great impression! First of all, the menu is insane. So many options, and combinations you would never dream of. I had a half Bellanini — super delicious. I was worried there would be too much going on in the sandwich, but it all worked together and tasted great! The sandwich was a mess to eat though, so maybe not a good choice for a first date… Also be warned: the half was more than enough for lunch for me… It’s a very generous half! Can’t wait to try some more of their creations!

Friends have been telling me to check out D’deli since I moved to Golden and I could kick myself for not doing so sooner! This little sandwich shop packs some serious flavors into their sandwiches. Picking the right sandwich for you from their huge selection could be the hardest decision you make all day! My personal favorite is the Colonel. Chicken, garlic, maple syrup goodness. I actually wasn’t sure what to order and one of the guys making sandwiches suggested it to me. If you’re unsure of what to get just ask them! I am sure glad I did because I’ve been in love with this sandwich ever since. Forget same sex marriage debates, I want to start petitioning for human and sandwich marriages! I would get down on one knee and pop that pretty question for D’deli. They also carry a variety of your favorite snack chips that you would find in your lunch box growing up. The brownies are also aaamazing and baked locally and fresh. I always get one despite the fact I can barely finish my sandwiches. The portions are pretty big! D’deli is not comparable to but reminiscent of Zingermans in Ann Arbor. It’s got it’s own awesome laid back vibe and signature taste. It’s the type of place every college town should have. With that said, it’s a pricey sandwich but well worth it. An abundance of fresh toppings snuggle happily between two slices of delicious bread. The staff is always so friendly and awesome. They really make the whole experience awesome. There is some seating indoors and some cute patio seats out on the sidewalk. Also, don’t be intimidated if the line is out the door. It moves pretty quick and it is 110% worth it!

D’Deli is another one of my boyfriend’s favorite spots, and I quickly learned why upon my first visit. The sandwiches are inventive, many even outrageous, combining ingredients I would never dream of. He challenged me to try the Jackwagon, which fell underneath the«Wild Side» category. When I initially read the lengthy description, I was skeptical, but after eating it, I was hooked. Here is the breakdown: peanut butter and jelly. That’s it. Along with honey, sriracha, sunflower seeds, bacon(which I asked to have left out), crispy fried onions, pineapple, jalapenos, and banana peppers. That might make most want to run for the hills, but it was a flavorful punch to my taste buds and I ended up getting it twice in our Memorial Day weekend visit. I love this little spot and hope to visit many more times.

Outstanding! Today my coworkers and I came here for lunch. Luckily I was able to park on the street right out front. Their patio tables had adorable little vases with containing yellow flowers. Upon coming in, we noticed the place is quite small. only about 5 little tables inside. The menu however, is not small! There are two boards. They have sweet, spicy, premium, traditional, the list goes on and on of TYPES of sandwiches they have, then goes into more detail with so many awesome choices with so many ingredients! I went for the whole sized TMI(about $ 8.50) on wheat, it contained.*deep breath*: chicken some fancy cream cheese spread corn black beans lettuce tomatoes green onions cilantro jalapenos black olives cheese red onions Now that is a filling sandwich! I also got chips & a drink which was only $ 2. My total came to about $ 12. Not bad considering all the ingredients and the delicious bread it comes on. The people working were friendly and efficient. We sat outside. One coworker got the TMI like I did, the other ordered The Dalton. Hers was more of a panini and I tried a bite, it was so good! I typically don’t like spending over $ 10 for an office lunch but I will be back, these sandwiches are great.
