Nice little park tucked into a quiet Golden neighborhood, complete with a fountain, walking paths, a small creek, a shaded picnic area, and a preponderance of paths crisscrossing beneath the sun. There’s a wee pond surrounding the aforementioned fountain, and the seemingly-lone picnic table is in a small grove just west of it(yet still within earshot of the babbling fountain, should you be in the mood for some background sound during your repast). There’s actually a second picnic table near some blue spruce trees on the east side, but the one next to the pond is more pleasant. The paths are paved, and the place has not been crowded either time I visited. There’s a port-o-john in the parking lot, but few other«frills» such as playgrounds, so this open-space-funded park should hopefully remain somewhat more peaceful and serene as time goes on. I’ll likely return to parambulate next to the small meadows and dells, but since the pathway is ninety-four percent sunny, I’ll do it in the morning or evening.
