Rolfing Structural Integration is a sophisticated and progressive hands on approach to self healing that reorganizes connective tissues in the body. Rolfing Structral Integration works to release, realign and balance the whole body by reducing tension and strain. Therby potentially helping to reduce body discomfort, alleviate chronic pain, and reduce postural compensations. Rolfing SI aims to restore alignment, body balance, restore flexibility, increase body awareness, and most importantly leaving you more comfortable in your body.
History
Established in 2014.
Funny as it may seem. Westside Rolfing® Structural Integration was born out of pain. Injuries and pain had taken the joy out of my life. My upper back/neck pain just killed from repetitive stress, work, and injuries. I couldn’t shake the pain. I felt stuck. I tried everything: physical therapy, surgery, massage, acupuncture, yoga, stretching, mobility work, and numerous different types of weight training. I decided to to try Rolfing. Friends had recommended it. I reluctantly called the local Rolfer™ and by the third session I was hooked. The changes were PROFOUND. My body felt better than it had in years, and the work lasted longer than a few hours. After that 3rd session I decided that I wanted to become a Rolfer. The work makes sense. Rolfing works the whole body, creating a better functioning unit, eliminating or decreasing postural and functional compensations. Allowing for a better functioning body.
Meet the Business Owner
Jeff N.
Business Owner
Jeff received his certification in Rolfing Structural Integration from the Rolf Institute of Structural integration in Boulder Colorado. He discovered Rolfing initially after being a client seeking help from chronic neck and shoulder pain caused from numerous sports injuries and surgeries. After 20 plus years as a Radiologic Technologist, the past 15 as a CT and MRI Tech, Jeff had grown sceptical of the medical model where the «patient» enters a never ending cycle of evaluation, surgery, rehab, pain killer medication, etc, etc, etc. In his opinion, Jeff felt the patient gave control of thier health away. Rolfing was different. During his initial 10 Series Jeff realized that Rolfing was a collaborative and progressive type of self healing where the client has an active role in thier own healing and health. They get to take back their bodies. Jeff moved back to Golden, Colorado with his family and enrolled at the Rolf Institute. Jeff is also a ARRT Registered MRI and CT techno
