All the salsas in the salsa bar were super yummy, and the food was delicious. I wish there was a Cucas near me!

Cuca’s does a decent job of re-creating the Mission-style super burrito but it’s still lacking. The al pastor was very plain. I like al pastor when it’s heavily marinated. But the meat was nicely grilled and somewhat tasty for lightly seasoned pork. The rice was soft and fluffy. I didn’t even notice the cheese. Either they forgot it or they skimped. My main gripe is with the chopped onion — they should dice it smaller. It’s kind of annoying to keep biting into giant chunks of raw onion. It distracts from the rest of the burrito. $ 10.43 for the burrito and a Dr. Pepper. Seems a bit high for a mom and pop operation. Overall, fresh ingredients, friendly staff. A-OK in my book.

New location, same dankness! The California Burrito always seems to satisfy the taste buds. I did notice a sneaky 50 cent increase in the price but the burrito’s worth it — best in town for sure. Although I liked the previous location much more, its a lot closer to me so I don’t mind the change. The interior is actually much nicer now than and it seems like they increased the staff too. Definitely make a Cucas stop if you’re ever visiting IV.
