Needed a battery replacement done on my car and I am very satisfied with the service. Like many others have said, Robert is a very honest and straightforward mechanic. I will definitely go to him if my car has any other problems.

Perfect service, very professional and friendly. The prices are reasonable and we trust them with our car completely. This was the first gerage we checked out when we bought our Honda and we never went anywhere else.

Robert is a very honest guy. He never up sells you and everytime I have brought my car in, he is finished before his estimated time. Additionally, he has fair prices. I’d recommend anyone with a Honda to visit him. We need more people like Robert and his wife in this town.

I started bringing my car here over 20 years ago because the dealership prices were so outrageous and the service so poor. You won’t find a better mechanic than Robert. He serviced my 84 Civic until I sold it and has been servicing my 93 Civic since I bought it in 1997. In 2010 we totaled our Dodge Caravan and purposely bought an Odyssey so we wouldn’t have to worry about where to take it for repair and maintenance. Robert will tell you what has to be fixed immediately, what can wait, and what can be ignored. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve put up with some stupid little problem for months, and then finally take it in to Robert and he diagnoses and fixes it immediately. I’ve referred dozen of friends and co-​workers, some of whom were ready to junk their cars, and Robert is always able to fix it. Robert has never charged us labor for easy (a few minute) repairs like fixing a tail light or replacing wipers or a battery. I thought I was going to have to junk my Civic last year when it wouldn’t start at all, but Robert spent a lot of time over several days tearing apart the dashboard and looking through the electrical system until he figured out it was a broken interlock switch on the back of the clutch petal. I know there’s no way he charged me for all the time he spent on the car. I don’t think I’ve ever encountered a person in business as trustworthy and reliable.

If you have a Honda or Acura, take your car here. Robert is the best mechanic I’ve ever had the pleasure of doing business with. He is extremely fair, hard-​working, genuinely kind, and very knowledgeable. You will not regret taking your Honda or Acura here. There is a reason everyone gives him 5 stars.

I brought my 2006 Honda Pilot in because it was driving very rough and Robert knew exactly what it was. He adjusted the valves and cleaned the EGR valve in 3 hrs. What he charged was very reasonable. I highly recommend him.

My civic started acting up over the weekend and I called The Honda dealership to make an appointment. I dropped my car off in the morning… after 3 phone messages, and 8 hours later, they could not find the problem.
A couple coworkers recommend taking my civic to Dimauro’s if the issue continues. And guess what? Yep. It happened again. I drove straight to DiMauros and they took my car in immediately for diagnosis. Within 30 mins they were able to find the issue, and another 1.5 hour to source the part and repair it. I was only without my car for 2 hours.
I highly recommend taking your Honda or Acura here. It’s a hole in the wall but you will receive 5 star service.

When I think of Robert, I think of every superlative imaginable — trustworthy, efficient, considerate, dependable, kind, thorough, timely, knowledgeable, diligent, committed, trained. .. on and on. In fact, I think so highly of Robert and his colleague that I want to own Hondas only from now on so that they will continue to be my mechanics.

I have a ’98 accord that’s been giving me overheating problems lately. I have taken it to several mechanics but they haven’t been able to fix it for good. Robert and his crew were able to fix my car right up with proper Honda parts and for a great price. I will always bring my Honda back to Robert because I trust his work and appreciate a job done right.

I found Dimauro’s searching for an honest shop to have my daughter’s car worked on. The FIVE star rating is the real deal. The repair was completed quickly for a great price. I got estimates from two other shops and Dimauro’s had the best price. I would trust this shop anytime. I wish I lived closer so I could bring my car to him.

The staff was very polite and knowledgeable. He was able to diagnose my Honda’s problem and fixed it in few hours.

Robert is very patient in answering customer’s questions. For preparing a short road trip, he checked brakes, changed oil and transmission and tires. Only for $$ 88. He is mechanics model such as Michael Jordan in basketball field and Beckham in soccer. I told him that I never saw a review from Google+ receives all 5 stars, and Robert exactly received all 5 stars reviews. He said he does not know all those reviews. He has been working as mechanics since 1980 and his small auto repair firm has been for 25 years. He is amazing and I will learn from him to act like an expert in my field just as he is.

I have a power-​steering fluid leak on my ’87 Honda Accord and Dimauro was able to diagnose the problem over the phone. I still took in my car later to confirm his suspicion, which he did in about 2 minutes. He told me that to fix the problem would cost $ 800 – 900 and that most people in my situation just keep an eye on the fluid level and only have to fill it once a month. He recommended I do the same and didn’t charge me anything! I will definitely come back for any other issues I have.

I have an older, ’97, Honda Accord and it has typical old car leaks and troubles. I’ve been going to another mechanic for a year and a half and really decided that I needed a switch since my ex-​mechanic found something new and critically in need of repair every time I came in (which was always quoted as very expensive), even for routine maintenance. I found DiMauro’s online with this great rating and decided to give them a try, even though I was a bit hesitant.
Best decision I’ve made for my car so far. I’ve been in twice to deal with a couple of issues and plan on coming back here every time I have a new, old car problem. They were honest (even took the time to point out all my leaks to me and make sure I knew what was going on and what needed to be fixed, in what order), efficient, timely, and very affordable (actually reliable and not extortionate in their estimates). I trust their diagnosis and their work. On top of which, they were so helpful on the phone alone and then just really friendly and really professional in person. If you have a Honda or an Acura I highly recommend bringing it to DiMauro’s and I will be bringing mine back as well!

When I bought my Honda Accord from a private owner in 2007 I decided to continue taking it to the mechanic who knew her machinery well. Dimauro has always been fantastic with my car and honestly, losing my mechanic was one of the greatest sources of anxiety I faced when moving away. The service is timely, affordable, and he worked with my schedule. I would recommend Dimauro to anyone.

I am very glad that Dimauro’s has a five star rating, because I think it is a 5 star place as well! It’s a bit expensive for an oil change, but they do they works and they actually look at your car to make sure that everything is going well. I have an older car that has a lot of issues, so this is an extreme plus for me!
Also, I got my car repaired here and everything was reasonably priced and very quick! I was extremely happy with my experiences at Dimauro’s and I will continue to come back!

Brought my Civic in thinking I’d need a new clutch/​transmission. Robert drove around the block for a few minutes and figured out the «grinding» noise was actually a loose heat shield vibrating. Huge relief.
He didn’t even charge anything, just recommended a good muffler shop that could weld it for me.
Although no repairs were done I have to say the service was really great and I feel good about bringing my car back again.

The owner Robert was very nice over the phone, returns phone calls promptly and is even nicer in person. I think as a small shop I can say I experienced personal attention and courtesy from Robert. I appreciated he was able to beat another competitors price for a passenger window regulator replacement.
