I’ve been coming here since I was a kid. I was about 7 years old when we moved here, now I’m 26. Clothes are cheap and cheaply made. Whatever. Still cool to go to if you need some cheap undershirts or something.
I bought their little discount card (I do every year). Asked the last lady who sold it to me if I didn’t have it or lost it, if I could still use it somehow by showing in their system that I renewed it (I ask them every time because I go through this same situation EVERY TIME) She made it clear that yes, they could still look me up in the system.
They ALWAYS HAVE done this for me. Except every time I get some employee, different than the last, who just has had a bad day and wants to be stubborn and rude and tell me «no» that they can’t look me up in the system. Even though just 2 weeks ago someone was able to?
Every.single.year. I have to deal with this. Then eventually I get someone who actually can magically look my info up lmao. The only reason I went today was for their 50% off valentine’s day deal and they wouldn’t give me that deal without my card either!!! I asked them what I do if I lose it then? «Buy another one». HORRIBLE customer service. I have a 3 year old I have to shop with which can be a hassle sometimes and I wasted 2 hours in this ridiculous store just to turn around and leave with nothing.
What kind of business uses a computer system that employees «claim» can’t look people’s information up after they have paid money for a discount card??? In this day and age seriously?
Get your crap together for real.

So I went to return 2 items I bought 2 days ago. Apparently they only give store credit and don’t do returns. That’s pretty lame if you ask me, and shows what kind of business they are running.
Cheap stuff, what do I expect?

Poor selection of clothing. And no service. The sales people are as lively as the mannequins modeling the clothes they’re trying to sell. The clothes they sell are as bland as their personalities. Skip it. Go to forever 21.

been coming here for years. i don’t even live in goleta anymore but when i do i shop here… one of the few shops that survived on calle real. my girlfriends and i used to come here to try on wacky stuff but in the end it came out looking much better than we anticipated! they have great prices for pretty good quality. i get lots of compliments and things i get there. the girls there are also super friendly and helpful.
