History

Established in 2011.

We wanted to create a place where we would like to visit if we were the customers. We both love good, simple, fresh food and with Amin’s many years of experience cooking in restaurants he and his family owned, that part came naturally. The list of things we make in house is long and growing all the time and for everything else, we work hard to bring you the best quality ingredients we can find. All of our delicious menu items are made fresh to order so each customer can get exactly what their unique taste might want.

We also love bringing a sense of community to our business. That’s why you will find lots of locally made products when you come to visit us. We keep looking for more and more local products so our selection is growing all the time. It’s a really great experience to provide a place for small local artisans to sell their goods. We like to sneak in some unique gourmet items too, so there’s a little something for everyone.

Business Owner

In 2008, Kari had plans to move to West Africa for the adventure of her life. Everything was set in motion and she was just waiting to leave. While waiting to depart, she found work at a local restaurant in Goochland to earn extra money. At the end of her shift one night she met someone. His name was Amin, and while neither of them knew it at the time she met her husband and he met his wife.

So plans changed…

She stayed, they got married and decided to create their own adventure. Right here in Goochland they joined hearts and efforts and there you have it folks, with the help of family and friends, Courthouse Pizza & Market was born.

We are small business through and through it’s us and you, every day is it’s own adventure and we are forever grateful for all of you who choose to be a part of it.
